Back Yard Bar-Be-Cue

Warning *Tough Post Alert* In my travels to Memphis TN and then to Union City, TN, I have passed by this restaurant on at least 6 different occasions. The 7th time I decided to stop, and I wish I had kept going. To put it simple, it's the works BBQ ribs I've ever had in life. Most things I eat and don't like I can find something decent to say about it. These ribs were simply inedible. They were not seasoned and lack flavor. They literally tasted like 2day old ribs. The sides were decent and I was able to finish those. Based on my experience I would not recommend this establishment to anyone.

I heard an advertisement on the radio and literally drove right beside so place. So I stopped in.Can't say enough positive about the staff.They were great. Lilly took my order and payment. And also gave me my food. That's where service ends.I had the Pulled Pork plate. The BBQ was average at best. It wasn't bad. It just didn't have any flavor. And NO smoke to it. Potato Salad tasted just like Kroger Southern Style. Macaroni and Cheese had no flavor and was runny. I quest the best thing I had was the Banner Pudding. It seemed to be home made. If I come this way again? I might explode other options.

I love their potato's, the pulled chicken as well. But when you have gloves on for arthritis or carpal tunnel and serving the public in a restaurant is terrible. You're handling cash payments, going to the other end bagging food and touching the plates with the gloves helping on the people that are dining in. The health department should take a look into this because this is not sanitary AT ALL. I get it if they help and for a condition but please put plastic gloves on over the arthritis gloves you may have to wear. Please and thank you

Was in town for the night, so I needed some good hot eats. Found Back Yard Bbq on Yelp, the reviews were decent so I swung by. There is a drive-thru line which was long af when I pulled up, so I went inside to order. The young girl at the counter was friendly and smiling. I ordered the Rib plate with baked beans and potato salad. The meat was tender, not chewy and tough at all. Could have used a little more seasoning but it was good nonetheless. The potato salad was nicely done, although I did add a nice bit of pepper to it. The baked beans were your average baked beans, nothing extra. Good though. I enjoyed my meal and the friendly service. Would absolutely come back.

I enjoyed my meal. The staff was friendly and facility was cleaned. I would recommend this restaurant. They also have catering services. I would rate them a number 5.

The food was cold and unseasoned but this is nothing new the pulled chicken was dry and it had no taste

Brisket was tough as wet leather. Pulled chicken was dry. The pulled pork was fair. Baked beans and slaw were ok.

Perfect Spirit of Barbeque! It had an amazing rustic atmosphere that I'd love to bring my family to over and over.
