Autentica Caribbean's Flavors

It's a bus. Go there knowing what it is. The food was delicious and everyone was very nice. The Cuban sandwich was great and the best I've had in the area. The pork was very well cooked and not dry. The tamale had great flavor and wasn't dried out. The empanadas were good with a cheese and mild jalapeños stuffing. There were a few things that are done better on Summer ave even but it was all fresh and good and I will be back.

Looking for a place to eat after being around the summer ave. area and spotted a super cool looking bus that said "Caribbean's Flavors" I knew My husband would prefer that over tacos so we decided to try it. Hands down the best caribbean food we've had! We came up to the window to order thinking it was like a food truck kind of place and lo and behold we were told to come into the bus and awesomely surprised they have a whole air conditioned set-up with a nice stool/bar area to eat for half the bus while the other half is a full kitchen/food prep area. Super cool and the best Cuban Sandwich and congri we've had not to mention the huge portions! Also ordered empanadas and tostones and 2 drinks for a whole $13! So much food with great flavor! Head down to summer! It is parked right next to the suntrust bank at the corner of Bartlett Rd. And Summer Ave.

This place is great. It is new so there isn't a lunchtime line yet but I bet there will be soon. The food is great yet cheap and the service is great. It is spotlessly clean too. Finally, a decent Cuban sandwich in Memphis. The empanadas are great too. Finally, it a food truck with indoor seating and AC. How cool is that?

Super friendly, cool inside and really good inexpensive food. We will definitely be back!

Loved everything we ate! I created a sampler with a Columbian empanada, a Cuban empanada, Congris (a big serving), a tamale, an authentic Cuban soda (Ironbeer) and bites of my husband's pork sandwich with fries. Everything was flavorful (including their sauces that you may need to ask for) in this fun, cool, clean bus venue. They had a daily special on a board that included fried plantains, pork, rice & beans that I missed when we walked in but I'll check out the next time we go which will be soon!
