Atzimba's Mexican Restaurant

Great service, tasty food. The lunch tacos came with a gigantic plate of refried beans - really tasty but the two of us finished less than half of it. Not fancy food but a great place to stop by for lunch or dinner.Very colorful and cool looking inside.

Atzimba's Mexican Restaurant is just of the highway and all in all, was a positive dining experience and honestly, this area appears to be lacking dining options.The chips and salsa was a nice way to start my meal and for my entree, I went with the burrito Fiesta.Service was good, though there was a language barrier. I asked an opinion between two of the menu items and the language barrier made it impossible for an answer. It was still friendly service.The ambiance was what you would expect froma small town Mexican restaurant. It also had a small bar in the back.All in all, this was a good restaurant in an area without a lot of dining options.

We were greeted by our server, Abby, with a big smile and enthusiasm. We were seated at a nice clean booth. It was a rainy day but the temperature was very comfortable. We ordered margaritas that were exceptionally good! We ordered appetizers of guacamole and queso and both were some of the best I've ever tasted! I ordered the chicken tortilla soup and it was so full of chunks of chicken that there really was very little broth! It was so delicious! I also ordered a tostada that was perfect. My husband specialty ordered exactly what he wanted which was a combination of chorizo and carnitas and he was very pleased! They were very accommodating and we give it an A+!

Unfortunately I do not have any photos of this restaurant, but the dishes were awesome, plentiful and very reasonably priced. Service was also very good. Highly recommend!

Nothing is better than a good mexican restaurant and this place is no exception! The service was quick and staff was friendly. Chips and salsa tasted like any good mexican restaurant, queso was a bit more on the thick side but still delicious, and my entree was amazing! I got the burrito cancun and would recommend 101%. The shrimp had great flavor and left a good taste in your mouth. The rice was also nice and fluffy. Only con is that the water is tap water but other than that this place is amazing!

So randomly on the way to Tennessee, we found this place. What was only 10 miles off the highway, felt.like it took forever to get to. I think it was worth it though. There queso is made with goat's milk which is my favorite type of queso. Dunk.your chip into the queso several times and it costs the chips more with every dunk. It's not a thick queso but I loved the flavor it had. There salsa was alright. Could have used a little more something in it to give it more of a punch of flavor. Being from Texas, we choose our Mexican restaurants based on there chips and salsa. This wouldn't be one I'd go to all the time but I would if I was craving my entree. I believe I got there shrimp chimichanga with the queso sauce on top. Along with the shrimp, it also had roasted peppers and grilled onions on the inside. This thing waa huge, not very expensive, and tasted amazing. I loved my meal. I just didn't fancy there salsa.

Passing through here, this was one of the only places open! Cheap, Adequate quality eats! Unbeatable prices and bound to leave stuffed. If I have to come back through here again, I will definitely stop by!!Customer Service: 10000/10!!! As I was paying, I asked the owner/manager if I could get one of the plastic CocaCola cups, and said I was happy to pay for one. He ended up giving it to me for free. I tipped very generously on my meal which was $10.Food: 6.5/10. When you get seated, you are greeted with generous bowl of chips and a bottle of salsa (very typical of a Mexican Restaurant). However, I was pleasantly surprised. I ordered the #3 dinner combo which came with a Chile Renello (which was super cheesy), beef burrito (stuffed with meat in a tortilla, with no other condiments), and a beef enchilada. The plate came out piping hot and the plate had lots of extra water/sauces. Maybe strain some of the items and the plate?Price: Unbeatable (however there are some items that are expensive - see menu)

Ok so every waitress should take lessons from Abby! Greeted us with friendly banter and brought out the beers cold and quickly. Chips are crunchy, and fresh. Salsa is yummy. We both had huevos rancheros. Delicious. This is almost exactly halfway from Knoxville to Memphis and will be a regular stop!

Great little spot, typical Mexican joint type food. Margs wasn't the coldest I've ever had, but typical overly used sweet and sour, food was good though and the waitress was constantly checking on me. Will def be back.

Stopped by for pick up order and had a couple of margaritas while waiting.Margaritas are awesome and food was very good.Would definitely recommends.
