Athena Greek Café

Samer and his family restaurant delivered a delicious Mediterranean lunch for my mother and I. We both enjoyed Lamb Gyros with seasoned fries. The gyros was busting with meat and fillings including a delicious taziki sauce. We also enjoyed the hummus and pita appetizer. If you're in the Oak Grove area or Hopkinsville or Clarksville make the short drive to Athena Cafe and support this great small business.

If you're looking for a fancy place, this isn't it. But, if you're looking for great food and crazy large servings, this is your spot. Place your order at the window and pick your food up when it's ready. My food was ready in 10 minutes. The man taking our order was delightful and patient- they have a large menu and everything looked really good.We ordered the gyro chicken plate and the gyro lamb plate. We also wanted to try the fries, so ordered a large order to share. We took home enough of all for another meal. The plates included delicious rice, a small Greek salad, and some fluffy warm pita bread. It all tasted amazing!

Food was fantastic. Authentic. Served fresh and great price too! The service was quick and friendly. Does need more seating but I'd stand and eat before going somewhere else. Highly recommend.

Their Ckicken Their Chicken Tenders are off the chain... That my Usual!! Had the Bacon Cheese Burger 1 time it was also great!!! I live the employees and owner on how they R so friendly and accommodating!!! Always greeted with a warm welcome!!! I have other things I am going to try eventually but their Tenders R a Guarantee every time!!! I have to admit I also get them bc I share them with my 3 boys(dogs) who will clean me out and I get none if up to them... I don't feed them table food often except for boiled chicken but these R an exception!!! For the price you get your moneys worth!!! You will not find another place that to go food that taste so close to homemade as theirs on things I have tried!!!!

Excellent food and service. Every time I'm i Clarksville I'm headed that way. Pizza has always been my favorite food till I tried their SCHWRNA. Spelling is probably wrong but it's a chicken mix with to many things to remember on a tortilla instead of a gyro. You won't go wrong with anything you order there.

Clarksville is a midpoint stop for us between home and visiting family. Discovered Athena a week ago on our way to visit family and knew when we swung back through here getting takeout from Athena again would be on our to-do list. Love their gyros and Philly Cheese Steak!

The food here is amazing! Tried it for the first time from their food truck at the spring craft fair. Got a lamb burger and the chicken wrap. Everything was delicious! I could have devoured the lamb burger if I wasn't sharing with my husband. It had amazing flavor. I also love the chicken shawarma wrap. The flavor was incredible. It wasn't over powering but you could taste it all. I can't wait to go back and try more

All around excellent food. I had the Lamb Gyro plate, which had delicious tender lamb, flavorful yellow rice, along with a tasty side-salad and a piece of pita. They drizzled all of the food with a nice tzatziki sauce and paprika.While the inside of the restaurant could be described as a dive, the food does the talking. I look forward to next time I'll be eating here. While I didn't catch her name, the daughter was friendly and welcoming.

My husband and I ordered Uber eats from Athena's which we already loved, but after this super thoughtful message I am now obsessed! Im lactose intolerant and ordered the feta on my salad on the side and they left me a note saying they left the sauce on the side too because it has lactose. What a thoughtful gesture, and their food is absolutely amazinggg! Thank you Athena's you guys are great!

Very good food and service! I have ate here twice and have yet to be disappointed. Hot and fresh taste.
