Asahi Japanese Steakhouse

Great hibachi dinner and the service was fine but the chef was excellent and cooked a great meal. The fresh vegetables tasted awesome, chicken and shrimp was very delish and the fried rice top notch. The atmosphere was nice and what you expect at a solid hibachi restaurant. I love when a Japanese restaurant delivers to the expectation of what we've come to know in America.

Love this place! The sushi is phenomenal. One of my favorite places to go for lunch. The food is always delicious. I've been going since it opened.

Asahi is my go-to when it comes to both sushi and hibachi. The hibachi chefs are always good and the food from hibachi is always good. As far as the sushi goes I think it's the best in Jackson. The drinks are good and the service is okay as well. This is a good place for a date night or if you want to bring your family.

The food was very good. It was my grandson's birthday and the hibachi cook was very good. He was very nice and funny. We will be going back. The restaurant was very nice and clean.

The service was absolutely stupendous the chef even though I was there all by myself made me feel welcome and comfortable he also performed several fire shows while preparing my food.The food was beyond excellent I suggest a group of people going to really get the full effect of the show but the food was beyond excellent price was it was not very expensive I spent $17 for my food but the chef was so good I gave him a $10 tip well worth the money good place to have a party or just go watch the game and have some sushi and a drink I will definitely be back again

This is a bustling place and looks to be a favorite among the college students considering the huge individual plates of fried rice at their tables. We stopped by for lunch and I ordered a bento box of Yakiniku beef, tempura vegetables, half California roll, and steamed rice. It was DELICIOUS and the tempura was light and crispy! Also ordered salmon sashimi which was perfect! Husband ordered an assortment of nigiri and maki rolls which were absolutely mouthwatering deliciousness! The staff is friendly and attentive. Decor is nice with an Asian flair of course and the place is clean. This will be our go to place when we're in town for sure!

This place is right next to my hotel so I gave it a try. The bar area is a little odd, with a few couches for people to dine on? I don't know. The staff is friendly, and I was quickly seated and waited on. The food was above average but not anything special. The portion sizes were reasonable. Only complaint is the fact that it is a little pricey.

Great place. Family friendly! Lots of parking. Recommend that you make reservations 24hrs out if it's the weekend or any special events. Nice people. No issues.
