Pancake was okay, my husband ordered the lunch special... tried 10 minutes early and the would not takes his order and once he did order it took 30 minutes to be served and the food was cold! We won't be going back!

Great food, super friendly staff, got to know the local busybody Delores, who is absolutely precious. Would go back again just to sit and talk to her. Highly recommend this place if you're in the area.

Maybe it's bc me and my friends are not locals that we got the treatment we did. You could tell the waitress didn't want to wait on us. We ordered 2 sandwiches and that was it, no fries or anything and we waited over 30 min and never got them. I also had coffee and every table around me got offered a refill and they never offered me one. My friend went to the counter and ask them if our sandwiches were ready we would just get them to go and they just then started making them. There was only 2 other tables in there when we ordered and they don't got there food and left. We told them we wouldn't be needing our food they hadn't even checked on us the whole time but was doing really great about checking the other tables. They made it obvious that they wasn't interested to serve us.

Only one negative... change the name! I'm new to this part of the lake and thought they were just a coffee shop. So I looked up their menu to see what they had. Boy was I surprised!!! I'm giving them 5 stars because I had been craving bbq. Honestly, I didn't think a "coffee shop" could have decent bbq but after reading reviews about the burgers I decided to give them a try. Oh my! It was as good as any bbq sandwich I've eaten and it was huge! The fries were crinkle cut and a bit bland, I salted mine, but the ranch made up for it! I can't wait to back and try their burger and more! What an awesome find in this small little town! Go try it!Update: I went the next day to try the cheeseburger and Arley fries (with ranch, cheese, and bacon) and this is how up there with my top 3 favorite burgers. I wish I could give more than 5 stars!

Arley fries! OHMERGAHD. There are only a few choices in Arley but just to get the Arley fries is worth the stop. As others have said, the restaurant is definitely having an identity crisis. We spend a lot of time in coffee shop. I mean, a lot. I would never call this a coffee shop at all. But it is a lovely little local town restaurant where everyone knows each other. The food was quite good and I think I have made the point about the Arley fries. :) I am not a ranch dressing person but man, their's is delicious and is a must with the fries. We were just traveling through the area but glad we did get to experience this "coffee shop."

I recently moved to the Arley area and have given this place a try for multiple breakfasts, lunch and dinner. Prices are very reasonable, but food is mediocre at best. The service is very inconsistent and at times they can be rude. They say they serve breakfast until 10:30, but that's a flat out lie. I've been turned away on at least 4 different times when I've gone for breakfast and arrived around 10:10 to 10:15 or so. Had the same experience with dinner when arriving around 7:30 to 7:40 PM when they are supposedly serving until 8:00 PM. I finally asked what their real hours for breakfast are and when they close for dinner when I was turned away for breakfast for the forth time at 10:15 AM. I was told that it depends... if they are busy then they stop taking breakfast orders early. In my experience, they NEVER have allowed me or my family to order breakfast any time we've arrived after 10:00 AM despite saying they serve it until 10:30. It seems that they haphazardly decide to stop whenever they want to stop serving it sometime after 10:00 AM. During our conversation the woman cooking chimed in quite rudely from the back saying "we can't cook breakfast with burgers"... which I find ironic because they serve a burger which has egg on it as well as BLTs... which means that outside of pancakes, grits and hash browns... they serve pretty much everything that's on their breakfast menu as a component in their lunch and dinner menu. As for dinner... don't dare show up after 7:30 or they'll turn you away then as well. All in all I'd sun it up this way:Prices are very reasonable.Breakfast is good... if they'll serve it to you! Arrive before 10:00 AM if you want breakfast!!Lunch and dinner are mediocre at best.Arrive before 7:30 or they'll turn you away unless nobody is sitting in the restaurant.And their menu is pretty limited.In the future I'll just drive a few extra miles to Jacks in Curry as they serve breakfast until 11:00 AM... meaning you can arrive and order by 10:59 and get breakfast. Jacks honors its meal serving hours as posted, prices are reasonable, food is good, options are many, and people are more friendly!

My sister and I loved this little mom and pop place. great food and great service. Perfect way to start the day.

Good local spot for food. Open early for breakfast, simple food for locals and lake folks.
