What a great way to start the weekend with brunch right before going shopping for the holidays! It is located in a new section of Bellevue One and is very fresh and clean.Oh, we also had shrimp and grits and lobster eggs Benedict that were perfect and fabulous service from Hannah. ;-)

Yesterday we had the pleasure to visit Another Broken Egg Cafe in Bellevue. The restaurant has recently opened in this location, so everything inside looked fresh and new. Our server was very friendly and made sure we had everything we needed during our visit. We started with the biscuit beignets and these were delicious! Served warm, covered in powdered sugar, and accompanied by a dipping sauce, these were a great way to start our meal. Our group of three tried the crab cake Benedict, city grits, and the supreme omelet. The omelet had plenty of meat and my husband was quite satisfied. He also had a side of bacon that was cooked to perfection. The crab cake Benedict was served on English muffins that were hard to cut into (I had to use my knife), so I left a good part of it behind on my plate. I was not a fan of the hollandaise sauce, either. My mother said that the whites of her poached egg were not fully cooked. Although I love a good Benedict, I don't think I would order this one again. The city grits were garnished with green onions and tomatoes which made them more flavorful and different than any other grits I have tried. Overall, we enjoyed our visit and would return to try some different items on the menu.

We joined the waiting list online before arriving so we only waited about 5 minutes before we were seated. The restaurant was busy and there were quite a few people waiting. Our waitress was friendly and our food came out rather quickly. However, we were missing food and by the time our waitress came back around, we were almost done eating. She packed the item to go, but it was still a bit annoying. Overall, the food was good and we will be back.

Let me start by saying I own a couple of independent breakfast restaurants & don't normally eat at chains. As soon as I entered the restaurant I noticed how new & clean everything was, it turned out it was there very first day being open for business. Our waitress was very sweet, a little nervous, but really cared about getting our orders correct which she did. The host & another manager we're also very friendly. The food was very good, I was thrilled with the GF menu & was able to eat pancakes here which were delicious! If this place keeps it up with the great service & food they will be very successful. Definitely give this place a try!

Our waitress was great. That was really the only thing good about the restaurant. We were there just after opening. The bathrooms weren't stocked. It took forever to get seated and there was no one there. I ordered a lobster dish that was a specialty for the season. I asked for the egg to be well done When I cut into it, yellow sprayed everywhere onto the dish. It was supposed to have lobster. I never saw any lobster. It was sent back to the kitchen instead of remaking the dish. I think they just heated it until the yellow cooked. Waitress was sweet as could be.
