Anglers White River

The food is good. Service is good I love you. River is great. If you haven't had frog legs before you need to try and they are very good.

Right on the water, great view. Indoor and outdoor seating. Did not care for the interior decor. Very country with wood floor to ceiling and dead animals on the walls. Not very appetizing. We stopped here for lunch because it was the only restaurant we saw lol. They had a soup and salad, all you can eat bar, for $8. Great price. There's a reason it's only $8. They offered 1 soup and beans. I hate beans so I did not try those but the potato soup was actually pretty good. The salad bar was your basic salad toppings. They also had potato salad which was not good, just tasted like potatoes covered in a mix of mustard and mayonnaise with no seasonings. And they had pasta salad which was ok. But for $8 the potato soup and salad was decent. We also had an order of the boneless buffalo wings off the menu which were actually delicious!! 3 stars because it was average food, some hits and some misses. Good price. Great view. Horrid interior.

It's the service. That's what I've determined here. It's possibly something about the area of the country? I'm not yet sure. Friendly. No. Like...beyond friendly. What's the word? I'm just telling you that we've always been waited on here like they were trying to impress us. And we're an old friend. The food was incredible. I even made crazy requests tonight and they executed it perfectly. Everything was just perfect. We were dog tired from kayaking the river today and really hungry. Zero complaints. I would have paid double.

We both love Anglers. We drive all the way from Mountain Home to eat here. Ordered the pork tenderloin and catfish. Both are always outstanding. Service is always great.I would recommend everyone go try Anglers, you won't be disappointed

It get's four stars but barely. Not a bad place at all. In fact it was one of the best interiors in a restaurant I'd seen in the town of Mtn. View. The service was a little slow, the food was pretty good. I had two small pork chops covered in brown gravy? Fries and a drink.My wife had the fish tacos and we had a pretty good time there. Not too eventful but OK. It does have the status of being the only place in the county that serves alcohol. Nicely decorated on the inside. Thick natural wood on the whole interior.It's a safe bet to eat at and the river view is also very nice. When you roll up to the place, it really looks like a gas station so much that it almost throws you off. Glad I went and hats off to the cooks and crew..

We stayed in one of the loft rooms over the restaurant. Room has cobwebs everywhere, floor coming up in multiple areas as well as soft spots in floors we avoided stepping on. If all this wasn't enough, came back to room after being gone most of day and our door was left open. Complained to a manager and she just blew it off like no big deal, said housekeeping must of left it open, not even an apology

First the good. It is a really nice setting overlooking the river. My server and the service was great. I was told that they have the best steak around. It had been awhile since I'd had a steak so I thought I'd treat myself and I ordered the Ribeye. It was cooked as I had asked and appeared to be a good cut of meet, it just wasn't very good and wasn't very hot. I would probably visit again but I wouldn't get the steak

Great food good friendly service and a view to die for, you want be sorry only location in the county you can have alcohol drink

The Angler's menu is just what a river rat needs after a day on the water. Or how about a cold beer on the patio when you haven't been boating? The wait staff is well-trained, friendly and attentive. We love to dine by the beautiful windows on the White River. And don't forget a take home dessert like double chocolate cake. Angler's is a treat, even for natives like us!
