Amigos Restaurant

Amigos doubles as a restaurant during the day and a dance floor at night. They have a split footprint with a restaurant on one side and full-service bar with dance floor on the other. Tables on both sides for food service. I've normally gone during the day to grab their pupusas. For a local spot in Memphis, their pupusas absolutely crush it. They are exceptionally made and worthy of returning visits. I loved the pupusas revueltas with their curtido and sauce. The sauce is not spicy, but it's full of flavor. The side of plantains and frijoles were so good with queso fresco and crema. I 100% recommend this side order with anything you pick up. Stop by, it's worth the visit.

Came to his spot to try some pupusa they were very good. I enjoyed the cheese flavor and the beef flavor. The customer service was really great. They were very kind and patient with us as this was a new experience and we wasn't sure as to what to order. We ordered a variety of the pupusa. I will come back to try some other menu items as all of their food smelled very, very delicious, they have outdoor seating areas as well as indoor seating areas and it's pretty spacious for small groups and parties.

Authentic... My experience here has always been a good one. The staff is super friendly and helpful. The food is good and service was actually swift and my tacos today were delicious as always...Ps. They have been renovating and their lounge and bar area looks fun and inviting. I would love to go one weekend and have a nice cocktail...Maybe for Cinco De Mayo...

the food is immaculate. every single bite was so flavorful and delicious. the guac had the perfect citrus to salt ratio. the peppers and onions almost melt in your mouth. the black refried beans seasoned to perfection. the jalapeños in the nachos were some of the best I've ever had. so sweet almost like candy. the shrimp was cooked to perfection. never had pupusas were busting at the seems. I can't get over how delicious everything was. once you eat at authentic restaurants like this you can't go back to eating the crap certain chains call latin food

Amigos have the best authentic Mexican I've had in a long time and they are still as good years later! They have transformed the bar into a concealed work area and everything looked very clean behind it. Music is a little loud but friendly staff, great food and late hours totally make up for it! The quesadillas and tacos are my favorite.

Well, picked this place on a 'Taco Tuesday based on reviews and ratings.NOT good for margaritas, as they only wanted to sell me a flavored frozen one. No gran marnier to float on my lackluster mix and silver patron... but charged like it.Also, as a single customer, I sat at the bar and also ordered food. 15% service fee added to bill and the service was not good. Hate that automatic fee.

Food was great ! They provided awesome service they where clean and communicative ! I will be back

This is the best Mexican and Salvadoran food in Memphis hands down!! The Gorditas and Sopes are perfect! The tacos are so good! The Jamaica is so sweet and refreshing

No liquor license :(( So it was beer only. Aside from that the food was authentic and not typical Mexican food you find on every corner. They have a bakery coming soon too! Can't wait to see how that will be!

I would say this is one of the best Mexican restaurants in Memphis! Great food, great service, nice atmosphere. Overall a pleasant experience. Will definitely be going again in the future.
