Allison's

Had a great steak here one night when my hubby let me tag along with him to a meeting. The staff served a HOUSEFUL and were efficient and extremely friendly. Steak was cooked to perfection and my salad was fresh and crisp. The dining area is cozy and quaint. Had a great experience and hope to go back again.

A couple of months ago I wrote a review that was extremely critical and harsh towards Allison's. After some time I realized I was being unfair and vindictive and doing exactly what I hate about social media. I want to apologize to Allison and her staff for my harsh comments and criticisms. We have frequented Allison's many times over the years and have always had wonderful experiences. The restaurant has a "homey" feel that makes you comfortable as soon as you walk through the door. The staff is always friendly and Allison goes to great lengths to check on all of her customers while they are dining, which is appreciated. Anthony does a great job with the kitchen. The appetizers are always awesome, especially the oysters on a chip. The entrees are always seasoned well and cooked perfectly, especially the John Grissom catfish. While my last visit left a bad taste in my mouth because of how we were treated, I would be remiss to say that one bad night overrules many wonderful experiences at Allison's. Allison, I apologize and am truly sorry for offending you with my last review I was wrong and hope you will forgive me. Also if you are wanting a Delta experience without the drive, Allison's is the place to go you will not be disappointed!

Awesome food great people pleasure having stopped in. Would recommend as a must place to eat when traveling through the area

Stopped on way to Hot Springs Ark and my wife and I had their lunch special which was hamburger steak. The sides were really good but the hamburger steak was as good of any hamburger steak that I ave ever had. It's name has changed from Allison, but Allison is still on the top front of the building. Well worth stopping by to get a meal as I'm sure their other special are great.

Wow. This place is incredible! We started with the shrimp and avocado salad which we devoured in what seemed like seconds. Both the presentation and the flavor of this dish were on point. I had the fish special for my entree and was blown away. I totally underestimated what could be done with seafood in the Delta. I'm not talking fried catfish folks. My dinner partners all had steaks and none disappointed. If your in the delta, I highly recommend. Also, in response to the other review; I'm an Hispanic-American and if I was being treated any differently because of that, I couldn't tell. Service was great!!
