There is a way to get what you want from this place once you know. First, if you call in an order they might not pick up due to the sheer number of call-in orders they get. Wait 10 minutes or so, then call in again. Second, if you go there to order be ready to wait. They might be rude but generally I find them easy going as long as you know what you want before you order. You're waiting anyways as they stay busy even with the less than perfect customer service offered.Third, be patient and look at your wings before you leave. I haven't ever needed them to re-fry or them give me the wrong order. But I have asked for "more seasoning" and also been shorted 4 or 5 wings every now and again, but rarely.Why do all of this? Because the wings are good if you have ordered them correctly. I suggest the seasoned or hot seasoned. You can ask for some of the seasoning on the side too. You might not get it, but you can ask.Here's what makes their wings a notch above the rest. Consistency. I have been here at least 15 times. I have called in enough times that sometimes they call me by name when picking up the phone to take my order.Like a "hard fry?" no worries, this is their regular fry. They have figured out most customers don't want their wings to be soggy when they get home, so they fry the wings hard every time. Their celery and carrots are seasoned and seemingly steamed just a bit. My daughter can't get enough of them. We always have to order extra just because they are so freegn-good-n-salty!Their seasoned wings are the kind that you can eat cold the next day. They are the kind of wings that leave a bit of flavoring in the corners of your mouth that reminds you that YOU CANT MAKE THEM LIKE THIS AT HOME. I must reiterate their seasoned and seasoned hot are legit and the only flavors I order. If you want the best dry wings in town, this All Star and the one on Perkins Ext (which is better than this one) are the only two in Memphis worth the time and the trip.

I visit this location often when I'm craving wings. I love many of their menu items,especially the Turkey burger combo. During my recent visit, I decided to purchase the catfish combo. I called in my order which is relatively easy. Staff answered the phone, greeted me and promptly took my order. She informed me that it would be ready in 15mins. I live less than 5mins away so I made a stop before arriving. Upon entering, I was greeted again. Order was confirmed and checkout was quick. My food was prepared as requested. I will continue to visit this location.

I went to All Star to pick up a call in order which was a chicken philly let me be clear the chicken was seasoned to perfection the issue I had was when I went to pick my sandwich up the bottom bun was completely wet and soggy I couldn't lift it no one likes soggy bread and also the soda machine is always out of coke and sprite and when you inform them of the issue they say they will refill it but... it just so happen to be out still at my next visit please refill the machine as a matter of fact IThey may need to invest in a new machine the ice dispenser has mold on it which is disgusting

Depending on the time, day, week, this can be a great wing place. I saw some of the comments, and I agree the customer services can be horrible. But if you can catch this place when they are on it's like catching lightning in a bottle. The other day I got some amazing customer services and some really fresh, good, and hot food. It was delicious. It was so good I had to yelp about it. I give them an A+++

While their hot wings are decent at best, the customer service is terrible. Like Charles Barkley, turrble. They don't half answer the phone and then they have 50 rules about placing an order. First, you can't place a call-in unless you're ordering more than 10 wings. Then, if you order a 20 piece you can only get two flavors but you can order two 10 pieces. However, you can only get two flavors in even numbers on 10 pieces. They are not set up to satisfy the customer. Historically, All Star Wings have always been known for their bad service (especially the Cleveland location and Perkins) but this location used to offer great customer service at one point. I thought it was due to the location which used to be a more suburban area, but now that it's merged with Hickory Hill and it's more urban, it has gone to hell (the service at All Star). Oh, and I cancelled my order and went to Chicken Coop (successfully ordered 20 pieces with 3 flavors and sides) cuz ain't nobody got time for Pat's (the manager on duty) foolishness on a Friday night.

Last time wasn't the best experience,they weren't busy but took a while for the food and employees weren't the nicest,but that was a couple weeks ago, I went back today,food was ready apon arrival,employees and looked to be cook were super nice!
