U can get a whole big tray of baklava for 50 bucks here, they also sell and roast their own coffee beans if you want to try different beans from different parts of the world. Service is friendly and the place is really clean, spacious and quiet, the desserts are must try, got their mocha to go and thats good as well. Will try their food next time, hidden gem!!!

I saw this cute little cafe pop up in my feed and decided to give it a try when catching up with a friend for coffee. When I got there, it was just the two of us, and we had the place to ourselves for quite a while. It's designed beautifully and is perfectly tucked away, quite unassuming if you don't know it's there. My friend and I both had a stuffed date, peanut butter for her and mixed nuts for myself. I opted for the Qishr with honey and my friend got the Yemeni latte. The only drawback is there aren't any gluten free options and limited dairy free. I'm not counting that against them...it's not their fault my body has gotten old and started revolting against the things I love the most. They do have oat milk but advised that it would change the taste of their signature coffees. The food looked absolutely delicious and I have no doubt that it tastes amazing. Our server was kind, patient, and informative in helping us to navigate the menu. We sat and chatted and the server brought out orders out to us in chic glass mugs on a gold marbled tray. It was unexpected but on par with the impeccable service that I'd heard about. It will definitely go back and bring hubby back to try it out!

This local coffee shop is on Summer Avenue. I saw it a couple months ago and wanted to visit and check it out. My friend and I decided to go and have Bible study there yesterday. The place is decorated very nicely with lights, tables, chairs, and sofas. It's very clean and, modern looking. It was very quiet when we were there and others came to buy coffee and desserts. There are games for kids to play with on a shelf. They serve an Arabic breakfast, many types of coffee, desserts, date concoctions which is made in house. There were smoothies and lattes. Another couple ordered tea and the teapot was so pretty and elegant. My coffee had spices in it that made it taste differently but in a good way. Our cake we split was very good and not that sweet. It was perfect! Shout out to our server, Mohammad, because he was so friendly and help us with the menu and which coffees to order. This place is great for working, studying or just relaxing. They serve a very authentic Ethiopian coffee! Please come and support them. They need more people to come check them out. You won't be disappointed!

Aldar Cafe is a gem. It seems to be new in Memphis, and I'm here for it. The decoration, the music, the tidiness, and spacious floor is a home run. Most importantly, the coffee is outstanding. I enjoyed their Turkish Coffee! Actually, I was super hyped to see this on the menu and it didn't disappoint. Served hot and with some vigor--absolutely amazing. The iced shaken espresso was also superbly delicious with a hint of cinnamon. They have pastries as well such as cheese danishes which paired well with the coffee. Another detail worth mentioning is the 10/10 service. Loved it all, and I will be back!

Whether you are a coffee aficionado or a coffee newbie, this is a must-try! They opened recently and are currently hosting coffee tastings every Saturday and Sunday, at 11 AM and 3 PM. At the tasting, you get to try 5 versions of their coffee, as well as some pastries. The owner also educates you about Yemeni coffee. I highly recommend booking this experience first if you are curious about their products. If you're ready to buy a drink, they make an amazing mocha latte! I also recommend the "bee bites" as a snack. The inside of the cafe is cozy, beautiful and clean. All of the staff were friendly and highly knowledgable as well. Please go support this new business!

I enjoyed the atmosphere of this cafe. There was a lot of seating to choose from, very comfortable chairs. I chose the lotus cheesecake, similar to a biscoff cookie flavor. I regret not getting another slice...lol My husband had the avocado mango smoothie, mangos needed to be more ripe for the sweeter taste. The Yemeni latte was flavorful, I appreciate the evaporated milk option they use. I'll be back to play chess and read a book.

Coffee is great and ambiance is excellent. Could be great to work or study with your laptop. Pastries are not the best I've had but pretty decent to try. I like the pistachio baklava.

A really friendly place where you can try new things than the same old coffee shop. our helper explained their menu and helped us make great selections. The manakeesh is delicious as is the honey bread (called bee bites, maybe). But the coffee is the star. the Yemeni latte is outstanding. great atmosphere and service.

The service and the ambiance are amazing. Mohammed is so kind and helpful. The food has always been great until recently. It seems they have a new person making the baked goods and they just are not nearly as good as they used to be. They are bigger portions but much lower quality. I would rather have smaller portions and better quality.

Happened to be in the neighborhood and stumbled upon this quaint cafe. The guy behind the counter was very helpful and patient and offered recommendations. I had the cáscaras coffee, which was pleasant and mild, perfect for midday. I also enjoyed the almond danish...I'll be back!
