Good to see Alchemy going strong on the weekends. Love their Goldie Likes cocktail, it's a neat take on a classic margarita. Still a fan of their sliders and fried rice. Overall it's a great stop with top notch service and ambience.

Made a reservation for Valentine's Day. When I arrived there was a line of other people with reservations waiting for tables, well past their reservation times. No front host or hostess. The servers were doubling as the front staff. We were eventually sat at the bar until a table was open for us. Bartender was friendly and helpful.The drinks were well made. We had the Goldie likes, the alchemist, and an old fashioned. For dinner we ordered the Frites, the Brussels sprouts, the truffle Mac and cheese, the pan seared sirloin plate, and the duck confit. Unfortunately none of the dishes were made right. The frites were fried well but was supposed to come with a chili aioli, and instead we were served just ketchup. The Brussels sprouts were bland, had no seasoning, and missing the brown sugar vinaigrette. The truffle Mac and cheese was extremely cold, not creamy, slightly burnt, and absolutely NO truffle at all. The pan seared sirloin was served COMPLETELY cold and an extremely small portion. The asparagus was barely cooked. The citrus from the asparagus seeped into the smashed potatoes giving it a sour tang. And the Steak, while cooked perfectly medium rare, was extremely cold and was completely bland. No salt. No pepper. Nothing else for flavor (garlic butter or etc). The duck confit was the only thing that came out hot, but was also missing the brown butter sauce. When we asked for the sauce, they simply gave us melted butter with brown sugar in it - nothing that resembled the sauce in any of the other review photos. We found out they were having kitchen issues and were at least an hour behind. But everything was cooked well, just missing vital flavor components and were served cold. So it was hugely disappointing. We ended up barely snacking on anything but the fries, boxing everything up, and adding the missing components at home and eating it much later than planned that night. I will say the 3 servers we saw covering the entire restaurant were nonstop moving, hustling and doing their absolute best. It's hard to want to go back and give it a second chance on a normal non-holiday weekend, but if I do, it will be cause of the waitstaff.

As someone who is quite particular about fries, I can confidently say that Alchemy's fries are a winner. They strike the perfect balance of crispiness, and when paired with the flavorful aioli sauce, they create a heavenly combination. I receive an outdated menu. The food was meh. The dumplings were the best we had. Service was good. Ambiance was casual .

I have a great time whenever I go to Alchemy. I sit at the bar because I do solo outings often, & the bartenders are amazing. I went before they merged with Salt & Soy, and after. Though the menu has changed majorly, there's always something good. I miss the udon dish they used to have, but they brought a new one with coconut curry that's just as delicious. The drinks are great! It's a beautiful location and always very peaceful. Would recommend 100%.

Don't get the curry, or much. Unfortunately the food is either bland or the rice is not cooked well. I just hate the new food here now, despite trying it again. Service is mid to good, depending on your day. The chef and a bartender both vape inside the restaurant while working... there's just an air of ambivalence. I'm so sad to see this happening.

This is the first time that we have been here since the merger. The drinks, food, and service was great. The menu is not heavy. So you eat and drink and don't feel stuffed. Oh my is it flavorful...Dumplings, Fried Rice, Captain Crunch Roll, and Kamala Roll...all winners!

This place is so yummy! Had no idea they partnered with Salt and Soy! It is so fantastic! Def can't wait to come back and try the sushi!

Visited this restaurant for about the fourth and final time last week. Had not been in some time and was disappointed to learn they had changed their menu. The place was empty inside. My party thought the food was bland and drinks were small. We won't be back. What a shame because we all loved Alchemy. My daughter had her bridal shower here a few years ago.

I had a great experience with this place. I was planning a proposal and reached out about using their private dining room for the occasion. A manager, Sage, was so helpful and accommodating in trying to plan, and everything turned out perfectly because of the awesome staff here. It goes a long way to have good people like this coming to our neighborhoods and creating places where people can make memories over good food and drinks.Highly recommend!
