My family and I love this place. We always sit at the grill, because why not if given the option? Just about every time we come we are seated right away. I think this is due to us always coming right before the dinner rush. The place looks nice, I think it can be cleaned a little more in places you wouldn't expect such as the wall right in front of you where your knees are. Or the back wall behind the grill area. Our servers have always been great. The hibachi chef we've gotten has been a hot or miss with personality. Some just do the basics and don't talk much. A couple others are exceptional and have a lot of personality. They make the whole experience even better. The food though is never disappointing. Huge portions. My husband and I get the Akita for 2 and share it with our 3 kids. They usually don't eat too much anyways and we still have left overs for lunch the next day. We also get a couple sushi rolls. Never had a bad one.

I have not been to a Hibachi Grill style restaurant in several years and I totally forgot the amazing experience they provide.The food was served fresh, hot, seasoned and an amazing presentation.We went for my brother in law's birthday and there was nine of us. We ordered the steak and shrimp combo. One of my sisters ordered the lobster combo.Everyone was truly impressed and full to the maximum.The food was prepared and served in front of us with an excellent and unique style.We went during the dinner hour when they re-open after closing during the lunch hour at 4:30pm CST.I was totally impressed how they could prepare for such a large party without any reservations.Everyone if you have not been to a Hibachi Restaurant please try it and you will definitely Thank me.

We went to Akita on Friday night, 12/27/2024 for our anniversary. We ordered the beef appetizer that has cream cheese in the middle. It was in the top 3 of my favorite appetizers ever! 10/10. The sauce for the appetizer is so good I wanted to lick the plate! 6 pieces of pure deliciousness! We also got the hibachi for two, but not at the hibachi grill side. There was a forty-five minute wait to sit grill side.The main meal was really good, a superior 9 out of 10! The waiter was attentive to our needs. We like how he even gave us waters to go! I very highly recommend this restaurant!

Very nice place to dine for an affordable price. The sushi is always fresh and tasty. I went here to celebrate a birthday and the staff was great with the celebratory actions. I would highly recommend. The ambience was nice with very low lighting which created a very serene experience.

I am new to the area and this is not by far authentic hibachi. Everything was TERRIBLE!!! I mixed the salad up so you can't see how it was brought to me but it was a big glob slopped on top and the texture and consistency was thick and clumpy. The taste was terrible and nothing like ginger dressing is supposed to taste like. I ordered the dragon shrimp tempura roll. The sushi was not fresh and look at all the sauce they saturated the sushi with! Like why? Let's move to the hibachi. It was only me so I couldn't be seated at the hibachi grill. I ordered chicken and steak. They brought me 5 pieces of small steak bites and majority chicken with 2 pieces of shrimp. What if I was allergic to shrimp but the issue is EVERYTHING WAS TERRIBLE!!! I left the plate and the remaining of the food at the table. Paid the bill and left. These reviews on here are not from true customers there is absolutely no way! The food is very low budget and not worth the money! I tipped the waiter and told him I'll never be back. He told me he understood and agreed the food is not the best. The placed has declined. The waiter was attentive and nice. The ambiance was mediocre. Nothing to brag about. 2 stars for the nice waiter the food is ZERO STARS!

I made an online order and came to pick up at the designated time in the order confirmation. I went inside to give my name and pay for the order and I ended up waiting about 35-40 additional minutes at that counter for my food to be brought out, which is crazy. The girl said "It will be right out" and I proceeded to just stand there forever. I'm not sure if they were swamped or just short staffed, but a more realistic wait time would have been appreciated.The food itself was ok. I got chicken hibachi. The veggies and fried rice were on point but the chicken had somewhat of a gummy texture to it that I didn't like. Well seasoned but something wasn't right when I chewed it. I ended up not finishing the chicken and eating the rest. Apparently they throw in 2 random shrimp with your hibachi, no matter what meat you get. They tasted better than the chicken. If I ever order from here again, its going to be through a delivery service, but it won't ever be my first choice.

Salmon and shrimp as well as fried rice was a little over cooked but the service was excellent. Food was hot and came out quickly. We wanted to dine at the hibachi grill but the wait was 30-45 minutes so we opted to eat in the regular dining area. Our waitress (Sylvia) was young and gave excellent service. She was very attentive checking on us often and automatically refilling our drinks. I had been here several times before Covid and the food was always good. Overall experience was great and definitely will return.

The food was good but the service was terrible I wish I could remember my servers name but I can't. I am a server myself so I understand the job and how it can be however she was very rude she barely came and checked on us we had to ask for refills and napkins I ordered the hibachi lunch and she never brought out the soup or salad I had to ask for it Togo. The music they were playing was foul one of the workers definitely had their phone connected. I don't want to hear the word "pussy" while I'm trying to enjoy my meal. 0 out of 10 I loved the food but just because of the service I will never be back.

Waiter was absolutely terrible, he was to busy watching TV than working! We didnt get our soup or salad it wasn't even offered. when it was told to waiter he said I'm sorry I forgot. which was at the end of meal, he wasn't present prior to even ask too get them. then said we wouldn't be charged for them. it's included with the hibachi meal cost!waiter never came around for refills our whole meal. The cook was amazing as always and apologized that our waiter was non existent. Reported to the manger on duty who looked high as a kite and only thing she offered as an apology was I wish I would have known sooner. Maybe be a manager and walk around and check on your customers! oh and dont forget they charge every table an 18% gratuity so he made a tip on doing the very bare minimum. we will never be back!
