Cool vibe to the Resteraunt. Lots of memorabilia on the walls. I ate at the bar and had the pork shoulder. It was delicious. Service was a little slow but not terrible. I'll go back next time I'm in the area

Recently took a an out-of-town group to Airport Grocery and we had a good time! Love the vintage vibe of the place and that they have a separate room for groups. While we could have used two waitresses for our group, the one we did have was super nice and hustled. Our food did take a minute - but for a group it wasn't unusual. Everyone seemed to enjoy their meals. The burgers, tamales and salads were definitely the favorites.

Don't be in a hurry and you will enjoy seller great food. The BBQ sandwich is one of the best I have every had. The hot tamales are fantastic. Anything cooked in the grill is great.

Wonderful hidden in plain sight gem! I have visited Cleveland MS over 10 times and always seen this restaurant, but never knew it was a restaurant. So I was on my way back to Cali on my birthday and was going to have lunch with a friend who lives there. She gave me a few choices, being I had never been here, I chose the Airport Grocery. Dang, I forgot to ask for free birthday dessert! The desserts in the window display looked sumptuous, but I didn't try. I arrive first and was quickly greeted and seated. My friend came about 3 minutes later and we began catching up. Unfortunately no one came to our table to take my drink order or anything for more than 5 minutes. We eventually flagged down a waitress who was attending to another customer who mind you had come in after me and asked her who our server was. She said she would get us someone. When our server finally came she was the sweetest thing. I don't know what the problem was, but she made us feel special and she was very attentive. From that point on there were no issues. I asked her what was good at the restaurant she recommended a few things and we both decided on the grilled chicken sandwich with the sweet potato fries. Both of them were absolutely delicious, the seasoning on the grilled chicken was delightful, it was a Cajun seasoning, not too spicy, but just right.

We were told this was going to be a great place to eat. We were so disappointed. We waited an hour for our appetizer which was just a cheese and sausage plate. Then almost 2 hours for our food. No one ordered anything difficult. Several things were cold when it finally came out. I asked for a manager and it took her almost 15 minutes to come to the table. She said we were supposed to be told that it was going to be an hour for food, We were not. The manager only offered a free dessert then seeing my husband's face offered 20% off the bill. Our server was sweet and kept apologizing the whole time. I wish we could recommend this place but we can not.

We enjoyed our meal, the interesting decor & atmosphere. We sat at bar & had good service. Restaurant was clean. Was in town on business so our 1st visit . We'll happily eat here again if back in town. Had tamales, catfish & hamburger. Tamales were good. Next time I'd get them with the chili & cheese. Catfish was excellent! Crispy & light-very fresh, generous portion. Slaw was very good, skillet green beans were great -a tad salty but I coulda eaten whole skillet! Hamburger was good but a little too done for my taste & a little light on the condiments. They have beer & cocktails which was a nice surprise. We had a beer. Will have a cocktail next time!

Delicious food and warm friendly service. We had burgers and BBQ sandwiches along with a salad and peach cobbler. Everything was excellent!Service was very fast. I could spend an hour just checking out all the old signs and decor throughout the place!

the food was not hot, place wasn't that crowded but we waited at least an hour for food. I have been to this place 3 times and it's never worth it. I won't go back, I'd rather have McDonald's.A wasted 90.00. I would not recommend this place

We ate here a couple of weeks ago. It took an hour for our food to be served. Typically it's quicker. Food was good. Server was apologetic.

Stopped in while on a road trip as a tourist. It has a motorcycle ride for 50 cents, fried okra and souther charm. Do you need anything else ?
