Agave’s

Our go to when going out is Mexican 95% of the time. So we try all the new places when they open. The building has recently been totally updated. Everything it new and clean. There is a bar area in one side of the building with other seating and the main dining room is a mix of tables and booths. We were seated as soon and we walked in and there were chips and salsa before we were settled in. The salsa was above average, chips were decent. We ordered a small cheese dip and it was very good. It was hot and freshly made. I ordered a skinny margarita because I don't like the normally overly sweet ones that are made with mixes. This one wasn't sweet and was almost clear. It didn't lack in potency either, but wasn't straight booze. I got a steak taco and grilled chicken taco. Booth were good, but the steak's flavor was the best I have had locally. I would get any dish with this grilled steak. Overall, it was a great experience and we will be back.

Great local place with an incredible and friendly staff. We had JR wait on us and he was very attentive without rushing us. Salsa suggestion if you prefer it a bit spicy, ask for the rojo salsa and add to the one they bring to the table.

Everything I've had there has been good. Service is good. Food portion is good. Ambiance, it's a Mexican restaurant.

Get the skinny margarita. You won't be disappointed. The staff are friendly and accommodating.
