Everything about this place is fake. Bad food uncaring staff and as for ambiance well if you like paying $70 for a tough steak that's over cooked while flies buzz around your plate then maybe. Being lied to about fresh house made kettle chips while they post mile high pictures and then serve you some broken pieces of som generic lays This place is horrible

Y'all the food was spot on. From the entrees to the homemade ice cream, it all was fantastic. The atmosphere is quaint and very homelike. On top of it all, the service was spectacular. Thankful for Alex, the Olivias, and Georgia made us feel right at home. *Bonus Hack*- there is an awesome and relaxed seating gazebo just outside to watch the sunset over the rolling crop fields.

My family and I are visiting Paducah, the eight of us (6 adults a teenager and a ten year old) just finished dinner here ten minutes ago. While this is fresh on my mind, here are our thoughts. We all had high expectations because my brother in law was told by a coworker that this place was better than Patti's Old Time Settlement in Grand Rivers KY! With open minds expectant hearts and healthy appetites we ordered three appetizers: fried pickles, bruschetta, and garlic cheesy bread. The pesto bruschetta was amazing all at the table concurred. The cheesy breadsticks was just a thin crust cheese pizza with marinara sauce, a little misleading on the menu but was good and greasy the way a cheese pizza should be. The fried pickles were very good and the one end of the table "forgot" to pass them out o the other end resulting in a bit of angst from the deprived parties, who each had only one or two and were feeling deprived. While waiting for the main course to arrive we took in the beautiful scenery out the big windows and enjoyed the down home country charm of the place. The waitress was friendly and the atmosphere had the perfect blend of nice but not fussy and a low buzz of happy diners and not a roar of frenzied feeders. Our main course arrived mostly in a timely fashion, two meals took about five to ten minutes to come out after all the others had been served. No reason was given for the delay but we really didn't mind much. So let's dive into the entrees, starting with mine. I had the chicken strips and parm fries with a house salad. The house salad was good nothing spectacular but a solid first base hit. The chicken tenders were generously portioned and very good. The parm fries were a huge miss for me. Quite frankly I had an anomaly on my plate. The "parm fries" were nothing mire than a microwaved baked potato cut into 1-2" slices and then sprinkled with kraft parmesan cheese. Talk about dry! Yikes. Which leads to the next sad issue, water quickly became an absolute necessity for many of us (my sister ordered the same thing). We both took one bite of the fries and as if we were in sync reached for our waters. Ughh. The water tasted of chlorine and cleaners (not surprising seeing the picturesque country location probably comes with a small town tap water system or an old well or a cistern or a pond that had recently turned over. Sadly, the establishment does not offer bottled water, which we would have gladly paid handsomely for! While we were busy drowning our fries in ranch (which was very good), we heard a cry of dismay come from the ten year old. "Ewwww" .... he said way too loudly "This water is disgusting and this pasta salad (the only thing he ordered) is dry!" He was correct very dry. He was protesting to his grandma who was sitting across the table stabbing at her 3" pork chop with a look of disdain...also dry. Grandpa, who was sitting at the head of the table, didnt even notice she was suffering in silence and was already on her second glass of water despite the taste. "Why did he not notice?" You might ask, I will tell you why. He was elbow deep in his sirloin beef tips which he proclaimed to be cooked just right. His green beans however were sweet for some reason? Anyway, moving on down the table to my husband, he ordered a cheeseburger and curly fries. He said they were good but only ate half his meal. My brother in law ordered a teriyaki pork chop, ate it all and proclaimed it was very good. This brings me ti our last diner, my fourteen year old nephew... he ordered a caesar salad with fried chicken on top. He took one bite, proclaimed the dressing sweet doused it with my side of ranch dressing I had for my strips and my sister's and ate it all. We ended the meal with two scoops of homemade ice cream. One black walnut and one salted caramel. The black walnut was ok, I was told. The salted caramel was awful. It tasted like they melted an old fashioned bitohoney in a vat of skim milk, dumped a half of cup of salt and skim milk into it and froze it. That's my story. Plain true and simple. If you go enjoy the views, the friendly staff, bring your own water and order wisely.

I've eaten here twice now and have been completely satisfied with everything. The service was excellent, the food was fantastic, and the price is in line with the quality of the food. The restaurant is very nicely maintained and the atmosphere is inviting. I highly recommend this place to anyone passing through that doesn't know where to eat a good meal. The locals already know!

I don't know if the food is good or not. Would be nice if on google maps your hours were corrected. We drove all the way from Madisonville on Monday to find it closed.
