We are from south Texas and have learned to love northern Mexico style food. This wasn't that but still tasty. The flautas were wrapped in flour not corn tortillas and so were puffy. Good, but not what I'm used to. The tamal was covered in a delicious chile sauce but the masa was much thicker than the filling. The tostada was good; lots of shredded chicken. My husband devoured his tamal, enchilada, rice and beans. Contrary to another poster, I thought their red salsa was fresh and tasty. I love green sauces for their heat and this was thin but one of the best I've ever had. Our server was polite and helpful.

Eh, mediocre at best. The chips are over fried. Salsa is eh, everything is just ok. I don't think I'll ever go back.

Don't waste your time or your money. They aren't friendly with their neighboring business owners either.

The prices are super reasonable. They have cheap alcohol. Went on Sunday & did the 2 for 1 margaritas. Also got a huge modelo on tap for $4. Tried the queso fundido & that was amazing. The chicken chimichanga was also very good. Good portions, good prices, great atmosphere. We will be back.

I haven't eaten at any other Mexican restaurant in Tupelo besides the buffet one (which sucks btw), but I'm going with this one is definitely my favorite. Super laid back atmosphere, prices are right in line with what you'd want to spend on a casual night out to the mexican joint. Service could have been a little more attentive, but I never "needed" anything that I couldn't get by with without. The most important part was the margarita prices. Skrait up marg is 5 dolla, you can get yo ass a top shelf for 6 dolla! Bruh ain't nothing worse than going to the mexican place and you and ya boo just want a chill night, maybe have 2 ritas a piece and you get the bill and it's damn near 60 bucks????? wtf foreal tho, why do some joints charge 10-12 for a Marg??? Not this place, you gone get yo monies worth and you gone be happy and buzzed.Skrong 4 outta 5 Amigos!!!!!!

Excellent service and food. No waiting on May 5 was a pleasant surprise! 2 for 1 margaritas. Our group had chips with salsa (no charge, served immediately), tacos, enchiladas, tamales, chile rellenos, large chunky guacamole. Everyone enjoyed everything. I would like a higher meat to masa ratio in the tamales. Everything was really tasty!

Stopped here for lunch the other day. It wasn't good but it also wasn't bad. Cheap prices on both food and drinks will keep the people coming back. The food just didn't do it for me. We waited a very long time for our order to be taken and just as long for our food to come out (longer than any other Mexican restaurant I've been to). Usually I just love the chips and salsa that they first bring out. Even that wasn't very good!I suppose the biggest downfall was the atmosphere. I go to Mexican places looking for authentic food, music, and staff. This place had none of that. If you're a fan of slow, slow service, eating poorly made Mexican food while listening to Shania Twain, this is definitely the place for you. It's been a long time since I left a Mexican restaurant unsatisfied but unfortunately this did it for me. The biggest upside is cheap food, but I wouldn't recommend.

This is the best Mexican in Tupelo & now also in Saltillo!! It's always clean. The staff is super friendly & greet you right as you enter the door. The guacamole is always fresh, the chips are always perfectly crispy, and the food is seasoned better than any other Mexican restaurant! Definitely recommend the pollo loco- grilled chicken breast with veggies over a bed of rice and topped with queso! So yummy!!

Chicken was dry, shrimp was like rubber and really didn't appreciate getting hassled by the rent a cop outside as we stopped to decide if we wanted Texmex or a noodle bowl there are ton of Mexican restaurants in and around Tupelo and some how these guys end up dead last in quality and customer service. Don't waste your time or money here the truck parked next to the old choice pawn has much more authentic food.
