A&A Cake Factory

I am so happy that I came across this gem! We needed a cake at the last minute and I was desperate to find a place in the area that provide us with what we needed. I decided to give A&A a try after coming across this business on yelp. Upon entering, I was greeted by a very friendly lady. They had a nice display case that contained cakes, cupcakes and other treats. I noticed that they had a strawberry cake and I asked to place the order. The young lady informed me that the cake was a tres leche cake, which was something I wasn't familiar with. She explained the process to me and I decided to order a slice first. She gave me a fork and I was able to taste the slice I purchased. Oh my goodness, it was so good!!!! She told me that it would be moist and that it would probably come across as "wet" to some, but I thought it was excellent! The flavor was great and I loved the fact that the icing wasn't extremely sweet. It was not like the typical buttercream icing. I purchased the cake and did not tell others that it was a tres leche cake. (I wanted to see how they would feel about the slightly different texture.) Everyone at the gathering absolutely loved the cake!! I am so thankful that I decided to drop in to this place. We now have a go-to bakery that we will use for all occasions! Highly recommend!!

We were on a road trip back to Jackson, MS from Memphis. It was after 8PM. This place closed at 7PM...the owner saw us, maybe sensed our hunger, and opened up the bakery for us. In this age of Big Businesses and poor customer service, WHO DOES THAT??And, our purchases were truly delicious: chocolate tres leches cake and conchas, which are Mexican sweet breads shaped like fluffy seashells. These were great the next morning with my latte at home. (BTW, I've been searching for chocolate tres leches cake for YEARS! I knew that it exists!) It's truly a family-owned business: the front is managed by the nephew and the bakers in back are his aunts...Finally, the cakes that were displayed were beautiful. I'll make sure to stop here whenever I'm nearby. As for those lucky enough to live in Southaven, RUN, don't walk to get your sweet fix.

I bought a cake that was already made and it was fresh and delicious. She decorated it beautifully. Everyone at the adult birthday party thought it was delicious!!!! The sisters who own this place are very sweet and accommodating! A little pricey but worth it!!

I had a custom birthday cake made for my daughter's 21st birthday and it was amazingly delicious. The cake was made exactly as pictured

Hands-down some of the best cake I've ever had! it was also very helpful that they were able to deliver through DoorDash.
