Before I get started with this review, I just wanted to let everyone know that I am biting my tongue as hard as I can on this review. And also, I have a fairly strong culinary background, especially in fine dining. Does this mean I am an authority? Absolutely not. But I saw enough things that made me cringe, so bear with me.I went out with my buddy (don't I always?) on Saturday to hit up the casino. He told me of the "upscale" steakhouse at the back of the casino, right behind the high roller area. I had glanced at on previous visits, but never spent a lot of time looking inside, or seeing what the menu had to offer. Upon arrival, I was drooling for some great food. Hell, we both were. When I walked up and saw the menu- and prices- I knew it had potential to be a knockout meal. Damn, was I wrong! A few things I noticed off the bat- we were the youngest people in there. I would say that we were slightly under dressed, and then I remembered- this is a casino, and we weren't the only ones under dressed. If they had an issue with us, they should have refused us service in the first place, I honestly would have been better off with that. They have a bar to the left, and a huge dining room- easily 40-50 tables. I would say 10 or so were occupied. We got there at 8:45PM, so it should have been an easy meal. When we got seated, we were told Marcus would be our server. So we waited 10 minutes for him to acknowledge us (as other tables he was tending to, and other servers doing their thing). He took our drink orders (didn't get any booze, maybe that's why he was pissed) and halfway through that, I shit you not- he leaves the table, and literally goes to the table behind us and starts boxing their food, right in front of us.He came back about 5-10 minutes later, and resumed where he left off. Mind you, the tray of their leftover food was literally sitting at my eye level for about 30 minutes. The smell of already eaten food and trash was sickening. I couldn't even look left. I would have felt more comfortable in the dish pit, at least soap is there. So around 9:15, he takes our orders, and then disappears. I kept it simple- I got a French Onion soup ($8) and a filet ($38, $36 with total rewards card haha), with extra mac n cheese. Items are a la carte here, so prepare to get extra side dishes. Each one is good enough to share, but I was too hungry to even share. It was about 10PM, and the soup, and my buddies calamari finally came out. I wonder if they had to catch the damn thing in the river. My soup was actually pretty decent though- something I haven't had a lot of and wanted to expand on. At this point, we were just glad to get food. We finally got bread too, 75 minutes in.I would say around 10:30, the steaks came out. I ordered the filet with bearnaise (an extra $3), my buddy got a flat iron ribeye, and another guest in the party got a filet. Well guess who got the filet with the sauce- not me. At this point, I was so frustrated, I didn't even give a damn- I was just glad to see a piece of meat in my face bigger than 3OZ. It was seasoned well, but it wasn't the best steak I have ever had. I will admit the mac n cheese was pretty good, I scarfed that down. By the time the check came, Marcus apologized for the wait on everything, and I almost felt bad, until I remembered the complete disregard he had for us in the first 45 minutes of the meal. That 45 minutes will last forever in my book. For a place that is pretty upscale and swanky, I was appalled- honestly to a point where I don't know if I can ever go back to that casino, which is a shame, but shit happens, and I guess my wallet will be thankful. So the lesson of the day- do your research before you go to "fine dining" establishment, or it might cost you dearly.I feel bad for Marcus because I am sure he is a badass in person- I would like to give him benefit of the doubt and hopefully someone drugged him- it was that eerie!

Food is incredible. We did haveMarcus as our server and somehere complained about him. Hewas a lil slow, but he also had too many tables for Restaurantof this caliber. Over all 4 stars, better dessert selection wouldhave pushed it to 5 star diner.

Hardly a fine dining experience. Food wasn't good, prices are WAY TOO HIGH and the service was mediocre at best. I ordered the arugula spinach salad with prosciutto and couldn't eat the meat. The prosciutto was sliced too thick and chewing the fat was like chewing on a shoelace. (I spit it back on the plate) I also ordered the duck sausage ravioli and while the flavor was good the food was just too dry. My friend ordered the salmon and uncovered a dollop of sauce which he thought was clearly put on the plate by mistake. He also ordered a side of sweet potatoes that were swimming in sugary syrup. There probably aren't many choices for fine dining in the area, but don't waste your money here. The ambiance was lackluster to boot.

Terrible, ordered the Calimari tasted like it was under a heating lamp for hours, more shrimp and breading then Calimari. Onion soup was good but not heated properly when served.Service was good but all in all not worth the money

Hmmmm... what to say. We ate here twice during our stay at Harrahs. First night, lobster tails and tuna. Both entrees were really good. The service was also good. The place was packed with a party of 48 men and 2 women. We were seated next to the party. Sonoma Cutrer Russian River chardannay made their noise less annoying. We liked the place so we went back the second night. Ordered shrimp that night and my husband had the seabass. Both good. No private parties that night. Very nice dinner. The only items we didn't like was first, the tuna appetizer. The avocado was mushy and the tuna had very little taste. Not enough sauce in the app. Second, the chocolate dessert tasted almost frozen. But we still liked the place. So 3 stars.

Not great for the price. The short rib appetizer was good. The rest was alright but not close to what it needs to be to warrant $30 plus dollars per dinner. Service was good however.

Good stuff...!!! Order the bone in rib eye...it is pricey...very pricey considering you get no sides that come with a $40 steak...but it is worth it...and the sides are amazing, the sweet potatoes, the mac n cheese, etc...you can't go wrong with the sides...they do serve 2 people so don't order too many...

We have eaten here many times. Every time we go to Tunica it's where we eat. We know we are going to get a great meal with great atmosphere. We have tried almost everything at some point. We love the duck sausage ravioli. The coffee encrusted lamp is absolutely divine!!

One of our best meals ever. My hubby and I are regulars at Ruth's Chris and Capital Grille. I have been asking them to put cayenne pepper on my steaks for years...and tonight it was done properly! Great wine, perfect apps and sides. Our waiter Allan was the best! He took great care of us and it was like he could predict our next request before it even was asked. Be sure to ask for Allan when visiting.

Great food. But we had to wait over 90 minutes for our entrees to come out. We had a group of twelve, but we called ahead. Our server was nice, but incompetent. He got my drink order wrong three times. No one even came to our table for the first 15 minutes we were there. Once he took our drink order, it took another 20 minutes to get them. When the food finally did come, it was delicious. I know everyone else in my group thought that too, because they're all loud mouths, and no one heard a peep out any of us til all the food was gone. Also, the bathroom was absolutely disgusting, the floor was soaking wet. All in all, For a restaurant that cost $100/person for dinner and drinks, I was expecting a lot more.
