306 BBQ Florence

If you're looking for good BBQ food, don't waste your time with this spot. I was too hungry to bother complaining. I deleted my original scathing comments and instead hope the owners do better moving forward.

Reminded me a lot of Moe's BBQ (from around N.AL). Chicken potato was solid. Basic potato, chicken, sour cream, butter, cheese, and chives. Also got a fish plate (fried catfish filets). Very nice, fluffy hush puppies. French fries not too thick, very nice. I munched those with some malt vinegar and ketchup. All was tasty. Decent prices. $8.99 for the potato and $13.49 for fish plate. Drinks not included. I got a clear cup for free water.Middle of a Saturday wasn't busy. Plenty of space and a couple tvs with some sports on. Music playing was some cool, old rock. Bathrooms were decent. We would come back.

Fantastic experience from walking in to the waitstaff to the food. I will go into the amazing care and connection we had with Holly and Makayla (spelling?) later, but let me tell you we had a great time. We wanted good barbecue and we definitely got that. The ribs were perfectly seasoned. They fell off the bone and were perfectly moist and yummy. My husband went with smoked turkey and loved it especially with his Alabama Slammer. We did try the loaded pork rinds which would have been great after a late night of drinking but a bit too heavy for us along with the other food. The interior has industrial elements that we like a lot and we appreciated a bit wooden booth and a view of the wood and metal bar. There were a lot of high tops available too, but we definitely preferred the booth. Holly and Makayla were just fantastic. So friendly, made great recommendations from the menu, chatted with us about other local places to go and things to see. Holly went out of her way to writes down some of there recommendations and we have tried a few and had a great time at those as well. We will be back before we leave Florence to buy some of their dry rub and white sauce to bring home. Fantastic people, food, and place for a fun night out. Bring your appetite.

I can only give three generous stars based on this visit. The restaurant is set up a bit odd with the front being sort of family dining counter service and then a side hallway leads to a large back room called the Back Alley, which is where I sat. The Back Alley has a bar and table service for their menu.I ordered the pork plate, which comes with two sides and I ordered an extra side. The pork was tender, but not real flavorful and was devoid of any smoke flavor. The red and white sauces we're good, but nothing noteworthy.For the sides I got tater tots, coleslaw, and a special of the day side of red beans and rice. The tater tots were of the frozen variety but were fried perfectly. The coleslaw was probably the worst I've ever eaten in my life. It was simply shredded cabbage with a very spicy mustard sauce. I could only do two bites of it and passed on it. The red beans and rice would've been good except there were several rice kernels that were very hard and undercooked.I did get an order of banana pudding to go, it was great and the very best thing that I had tonight.

This place has great food and is pretty affordable! I got the smoked chicken sandwich and it was really good, and the fried okra is INCREDIBLE. Highly recommend if you're in the Florence area!

Absolutely the best BBQ I have had in quite awhile! This restaurant checks off all boxes.

I get the wings with fries and nana pudding. Good food. Nice big dining room.

We went here because of the reviews on Yelp. I would call it average at best. There really was little ambiance-the eating area was hard chairs and it was basically deserted at 4:30. Maybe it was just a bad day. Not a place I would return to.

Don't buy Chicken Nachos at a Bar B Que joint.Enough said!1 star only because I had to for the post to get posted!

Surprisingly good barbecue and delicious food in general. The sweet tea was good too and several sauce selections.
