1819 The Restaurant

Very good food and impeccable service! This is great place for a date night. Loved the short ribs and risotto!

1819 was set up to be the new "it" place. I had really high hopes for it. Unfortunately, I feel it's been very hit or miss. While I know some who have had excellent experiences, mine haven't been one of them. I went for lunch one day and we ordered the crab dip and short rib sandwich. The dip was very underwhelming but the flavor of the short rib was good. I do believe this place is overpriced for what it is on most items. Also, be very careful as they almost always add in their own tip. Especially on to go orders. I know instances where they tip $20 on a $40 to go meal they do get a few stars for the ambiance but we will see how the food and service continue as time goes on.

So good! Our waiter was so nice! Beautiful location and restaurant. Food was delicious! I had the Caesar salad and bbq burnt ends. The bbq sauce was perfect, just a little heat so good! The rest of our group also enjoyed their food. Next time I'm in the area I will definitely be back!

What a wonderful addition to the little square of Lawrenceburg! I enjoyed everything about this place, the inside is gorgeous, very stylish tables, chairs, and their china is very pretty as well! The food was amazing, steaks are off the charts excellent! I also enjoyed the mushroom ravioli a lot! We had some happy hour drinks before dinner and their classic old fashioned really hit the spot.The service is welcoming, friendly and polite. Overall, it was a great experience and would highly recommend.

After boycotting this place for a few months, the wife and I decided to give it another chance. I support small businesses and want them to succeed and it was actually nice to see one of the original waitress's still working there that still cared about her job and her community.She completely understood the growing pains and the staffing issues for the first three months and was telling us they're doing everything they can rectify the situation at succeed. There's still a lot of work to go to be up to a five star review this area with all the new restaurants within 30 miles of here.Pros:Steak was very well prepared, priced a little on the low sideService was 1000x better Tea was excellent Cons:Butter board was way too over done with canned toppings. And the warm temp (to make it spreadable) felt really weird. Nobody at the table would order it again. Also had to order a loaf of sourdough bread to eat the butter with. The few crackers and croutons weren't going to cut it. Out of a few menu items Out of chicken Out of gumbo or not making it. Crab balls way over cooked (but surprisingly not burnt)Will give it a month and return and see if it's getting better.

I have been to 1819 multiple times and have never had a bad experience. The food has been among the very best I can find in Lawrence county. The service has been friendly and accommodating. I hear a lot about how expensive it is but I believe that's a direct comparison to most other restaurants around. Let's face it, good food just costs more than defrosting something from Sysco or breaking open a can and heating it up (I'm not saying all other restaurants do this).I will continue to eat there and recommend 1819.

I had lunch solo while back home for a family emergency. It was not very busy for lunch time so I had the entire front window area to myself. The food was good, not memorable, and the service was sporadic. It seems to be struggling so not sure it's gonna make it. Was great to reminisce about old times though.

This place was fantastic! The food, service and atmosphere were top notch. I had the Pork Ribeye which was tender and flavorful. Topped off the evening with some of the most amazing cheesecake ever!
