This was my go-to bagel place for as long as I can remember. Once the owners changed it went downhill. The service is unnecessarily slow and the people who work there you can tell hate their job. No smiles. The last 5 times I have gone I said I am never going again... and after today I am not for sure. It's just little things that are not the same. Its crazy this place used to have a line on Saturday's.. now with the new owners I never see a line.

I am not sure if this Memo's if is affiliated with the Memo's Bakery in Rancho San Diego, the lady at the counter said it was, but my first experience here is not up to par with the level quality I receive at the Memo's in Rancho San Diego. For example, I ordered the breakfast bagel with scrambled eggs, ham, and cheese on a Bialy Bagel and a cup of coffee. The breakfast bagel was okay, hence the three stars, but it could be much better with some easy upgrades. First, they not mix the cheese with the eggs. It was hardly noticeable. I could not taste it. When you put a cheese on a hot sandwich one has not see it beautifully melting on and down the sides of the ingredients of the sandwich. I would suggest they offers slices of cheese like Provolone, Cheddar, Swiss, and Pepper Jack etc., and place the cheese right on top of that pipping hot egg or ham, so that it melts into goodness into the sandwich. They also consider putting some kind of spread on the bagel too. On a good note, they put a good amount of ham into the breakfast bagel. Service was friendly enough, but it should be more friendly and welcoming. I like to see smiles where I spend my money.

My first time here and my bagel was delicious. I had the Golden bagel with bacon on a jalapeño bagel. The jalapeño bagel was a recommendation from the cashier and it's delicious . The service was great and friendly and I'm just enjoying my bagel in the patio area. Will definitely be back.

The old Golden Bagel is still listed so to be very clear I'm reposting in the proper spot with Memo's:This place was fantastic when the new owners took it over. Bagels bigger and more tasty, salads were superb but it seems now that I can't get a salad with all the advertised ingredients as they seem to be out of one thing or another all the time. This is definitely a management issue and I'm getting tired of all the excuses and wrong orders. Sad but true.

Got a Baker's Dozen for Teacher Appreciation week with small container of regular cream cheese and strawberry cream cheese. The only thing I asked is that I get 4-everything bagels, since those seem to be popular. COST: $37.12. OVER DOUBLE THE PRICE OF $19 AT EINSTEINS! WTH? I knew I should have asked the price since there was nothing listed on the board or perhaps I was charged individually which is totally lame. NEVER AGAIN!

This place is horrible, their cream cheese has a weird taste and leaves you feeling like you have a film on your teeth the rest of the day. The owner, and I'm sure it's his family whom he employees are extremely rude, aggressive, and abusive towards female patrons. It's a shame when under the previous ownership, this place was a delight.

This has been our 'go to' bagel spot for some time. The bagels are great even after the change in management but the prices are getting out of control. Not sure we'll be by much anymore because of that.

customer service here is severely lacking. I stood there for 10 mins and ordered 2 sandwiches and waited. an older white woman walks in after me and ordered the same bagels i did (they were the last two) and gets her order before me. no apology from the person behind the counter. i ended up leaving and took my business elsewhere.

The old place was SO much better!! Bagels and the sandwiches are not the same!! Much worse quality of all the products for a much higher price. It's unfortunate because I loved this place but I will not be coming back! They also charge $15 for orange juice that you can buy at Trader Joes for 1/3 if the price. Wtf Not a good experience at all. Also heard other customers asking about the price increase and lack of communication of the actual prices on the menu.

I always get the Turkey sandwich with bacon, avocado and sprouts (at an additional cost) here. It's so filling and tasty. I also get the açaí bowl, so sweet! The place looks decent, seating is limited.
