Meijo Sushi And Japanese Cuisine

I love this restaurant. When I visit IB is my go to. Their food is fresh, tastes great. The service is friendly and quick. I highly suggest.

WE SHOULD'VE STOPPED AFTER FINDING A HAIR IN OUR FOOD!!!But heck, we forked over $65 for dinner and were hungry... Alas, the unagi tasted like it was microwaved; the seaweed was subpar; and the rice was stale. Next time, save a chunk of change and get sushi at the local grocery!!

WE GOT FOOD POISONING.This is my first review ever. I HAD to. Its sad because we all make mistakes and I did not want to put a bad review because this could have been a one time thing but, unfortunately my husband and I are NEVER going back. We picked up the food at 7:45 ate at 8:30 by 11 we were stuck in the bathroom. Followed by fever, stomach cramps, diarrhea and vomiting. I then went in to read reviews and saw that the they had 5 violations on the health inspection January 2024. All violations are for non/clean, food temps, non clean surfaces and non hand washing stations near by It's very disturbing to see this. We had our go to sushi spot for years but recently they closed down and tried somewhere new since we are in search of a new go to spot that is not $20 a roll. Staff was nice, and they have our order correctly. Food dident taste bad, we actually really enjoyed the baked roll but overall not worth getting sick. I rather pay $20 a roll somewhere that has no violations. Sorry for the bad review and blessings.

As always, this place is wonderful! I love the food and the service. The servers are always so welcoming and get our orders correct everytime.This most recent time we ordered the Calamari, Tamago Nigiri, 14pcs Sushi Mix, 2pc Oysters and the Dream Roll. The Calamari is my favorite appetizer to order here.Stopped here again on 6/19/24. Service was amazing and our server was very attentive. I ordered: Tiger Eyes $12.95, Winter Roll $17.95, Fried Calamari $10.95, and the Tamago Nigiri $4.95. Everything was delicious. I had two children with me and they ordered sushi rice, seaweed salad, cucumber rolls, avacado rolls and fried gyoza. They enjoyed everything and ate almost all of it (they weren't into the seaweed salad). They were given the little plastic helpers for the chopsticks, which they loved!There is a tv on in the restuarant but it is usually just on ESPN so I didn't have to worry about the kids seeing anything inappropriate. There was plenty of seating inside and outside to choose from. The bathrooms are a tad old and run down. There is plenty of parking out in the lot.

I've been coming since I was little, a go to spot for good, fresh sushi and always friendly service.

Love their sushi when I want sushi. I like their Misho soup the variety is great when you're in the mood for a little of everything.

I always get sushi. Tonight I ordered an entree, garlic chicken with egg rolls. So good. Ton of food!! Great sticky rice. Super nice staff. Always pleasant. Fast service!!!

Nice little mom and pop shop serving decent-sized portion meals. Taste was good and the prices are fair. Will be coming back.

It's not what you'd expect to find when you think of a sushi place, but it seems to be a pretty popular lunch spot, and with a good variety of rolls.The service was very fast and friendly, perfect for a quick lunch bite. The rolls weren't super imaginative, pretty standard options. They were pretty good and would satisfy a hankering. Overall, it's a decent place. Not a lot of sushi options in the area, so it's nice they are here. Nothing particularly stood out as above and beyond, but it is nice that they are quick to accommodate the lunch crowd. I'd consider a return visit the next time I've got a hankering for sushi in IB!

Great service wonderful atmosphere servers are very attentive. Love this place. What am I go to spots for sushi.
