Med Gyro & Shawarma

Yesterday was "Eat a Hoagie Day" so on my lunch break I headed to where I knew there was a national sub chain. They were no longer there, but Med was! What a nice surprise!Not only was the place clean, light and welcoming, the staff really did their best to please. It was a great experience.It has been said that you taste food with your eyes first. In other words, presentation counts! That is why I took a photo of my meal. It tasted as good as it looked. It was enough for two people!Med is located between where I work and another gyro restaurant. I like this place better and since it is closer, it has been added to my frequent lunch spot list. You should try it!

Med Gyro & Shawarma has been open for 1 week! I found them right here on Yelp. We walked in on a Sunday and met a friendly gentleman. I love seeing place after ethnic place opening in Murfreesboro. We ordered: Appetizers:Babaganoujh (roasted eggplant dip) - tasty roasty flqvorHummus (chick pea dip) - drier than typical but creamyDolmas - stuffed Grape Leaves Falafel-fried balls of chickpea or foul beans - very tasty, not dry, more herbaceous than I get from any place except my friend Maher who makes them for me every once in a while. Mains:Beef & Lamb Gyro - tasty mix of lamb and beefChicken Shawarma wrap (I was given the choice to have pita or lavash) - tightly rolled, tender chicken, tasty, pickled cabbage. Veggie bowl - exceptional - falafel, babaghanoujhFries - hot and tastyStreet fries - Middle Eastern poutine!Gozleme-bread, spinach, cheeseOn the counter are shakers for extra spice: Meat tenderizer (I think this is akin to MSG)Crushed red pepper flakesWould food seasoningGarlic salt

Wow, wow and wow that was absolutely delicious! The staff was friendly and the place looked very clean. One of the best servings of humus I have had in a while! Everything tasted amazing, we will definitely be back!

Staff was super friendly and the restaurant is clean and new. I ordered take out and was so impressed with the food! Everything was delicious and fresh! I can't wait to order again! Don't sleep on this place!

The falafel, the gyros where amazing only the meat could have had more seasoning the tzatziki sauce made the two dishes . Tiramisu was cold and still frozen in the center but the texture and taste made up for it still being frozen in the center!

Went a week and a half ago and the food was great and service even better. Never had baklava like that before and can't wait to go back! Please Murfreesboro, support places like this to keep good food spots thriving!!

The food at the restaurant is Turkish based. The food, waw just amazing! We had the fries with combo meat on top and a gyro shawrma wrap. The fries were crispy and fluffy at the same time. The toppings were just right - in the sense that no taste was overwhelming/just the right balance! The sauce on the fries and meat was unique. The meat - chicken and gyro - were definitely the highlight in the way it was seasoned and melts as you eat it. For the wrap, oh my!!! After I took my first bite, I told my husband we were definitely coming back. The wrap bread was thin and didn't feel like you're eating dough in every bite. The toppings, their trio sauce ,and gyro meat really gave the sandwich my vote to come back. Sandwich wasn't dry at all! From my understanding, this is a new restaurant, and based on the restaurants I have tried in the middle Tennessee area, this is a GEM! You can't go wrong with their menu and make sure to get an order of their fries no matter what. You'll thank me later

Went in for a pickup order and was greeted with great customer service. The food was delicious with generous portions, plus the plates look beautiful. I will definitely be back!
