McCray's Tavern West Village

Top 5 burger I've ever had and I've had my fair share of great burgers in my 43 years here on earth. Service was great and very attentive. Price ain't too high either. I'll 100% be back.

We came here for burgers and we were very pleased with our burgers. We got the Matador and their monthly Special burger (the sunrise) They come with the side of fries that were super crispy. Just how I like them We sat on their dog friendly patio and our server was fast efficient!

They have a good selection of food and drink options. We ordered fish and chips and grilled chicken with mashed potatoes and broccolini. Everything was really good and offered nice portion sizes. Our server was okay but seemed rushed thus the one star removal. I forget his name. We were seated on the patio. He would come to check on us as if someone was chasing after him. As soon as we started to respond, he would start walking to the door and reply with his back turned to us which is difficult for someone like me who is bilateral hearing impaired. We felt as if we were inconveniencing him. He never got anything wrong though. McCray's is a very laid back place ideal for couples, business meetups, and families. It's a cool area with plenty of parking.

Went there on a Friday night and we got seated right away. We got a high table by the bar and only ordered drinks and wings. Our waiter was nice and got us our drinks fairly quickly. I ordered a whisky sour, but it tasted as if soda had been added to the drink. I told our waiter and he changed the drink right away with no issues. The games were on on all the tv's but majority of the people were focused on the basketball game. It is a cool spot to hang out and watch a sports game.

average place for food. We went for Wednesday Trivia and it started @7:30 and ended around 9:30. There are cash prizes for top 3 winners which is cool. The host was great and it's super easy to log in to play. The food was average, and the beer was okay. Their draft list wasn't bad I just wish there was more. We got the Brussel sprouts and nacho apps which were average. Wish there was more cheese for the nachos and crispier Brussel sprouts but the flavor was good.

Cute place, good service. Food was great. Had a Cobb salad with chicken, ONLY suggestion is that they need to let the chicken rest before cutting it so it doesn't come out so dry. Coworker had a panini and the sandwich and fries looked great and he loved it. Will be back!

Had a great time here on a Sunday. I came here around 11 with my mother for brunch. We were immediately seated in the bar area, our server was Shai. I had the breakfast sandwich and Mac n cheese, and she had wings and eggs. We both ordered a side of breakfast potatoes. Mac and cheese was okay, not great but not bad. We really liked the potatoes, but my mom's order of them came out cold. Shai was swift in correcting the problem. I liked my sandwich and she liked her wings but we agreed that it wasn't...... "delicious." But it was good. They do not have bottomless mimosas, but they do have a mimosa tower (pictured) which is enough for two. The mimosa is pre-made so you do not have an option to choose another juice. It was still good. The service was awesome, she made us feel at home and took great care of us. The manager stopped by and checked on us as well. like that the bar area has TV's around the entire perimeter. No matter where you are sitting you can see a television. McCray's is located in a work/live/play area, so there are 7+ other restaurants in the walking distance. That being said, nothing really stands out or encourages me to go back there and not somewhere else. Again, nothing was bad. It was just a regular place to eat at. In these times, if I'm spending my hard earned money I want some damn good food!! This just wasn't the place.

Cool bar but they allow people to order to-go food and eat it at the bar or take up tables in the restaurant. It looks awful. Who wants to sit near trash on the bar? Change this behavior! Yuk!
