This a traditional neighborhood Mexican bakery. Empanadas, conos with creme, cookies, pan dulces, and all kinds of wonderful treats. Went there with my work crew today and everyone was was so stoked walking out. Huge smiles and tasty treats. People behind the counter are so nice and sweet. Prices are super cheap, especially for the quality. My kids love these treats!

McCord's Bakery has been a local community favorite for some time now. I'm glad to see them open during the pandemic so that they may continue to support the community and vice versa.I picker several items when I visited. Let's see, a cinnamon roll, a Mexican croissant, and a concha. I ate the croissant first with a cup of coffee at home. I warmed it up a bit and it was some fine eating. Both the cinnamon roll and concha I had the next day, warming them up and eating them with coffee. The croissant was tasty and soft, especially after warming. The cinnamon roll had a good amount of cinnamon and was not overly sweet. The concha was just write with a bit of sweetness and very bready. Customer service is friendly and simplistic. They bake bread and sweet daily.

Omg where do I start. Okay we got a bunch of pastries from here and they were so good. Fresh and delicious! I keep coming back here because their pastries are definitely quality for a super fair price. The people working here are always welcoming and sweet as well! The best part of all is that I know my money is going to small business and back to the community :)

A cute little neighborhood Mexican donut shop at great prices. This bakery is small but they have a great variety from classic donuts to Mexican sweet breads, plain to stuffed with sweet cream. I was greeted by a sweet Mexican woman. A half dozen is about $5.50 and about $9 for a dozen. You definitely get a bang for your buck, as the donuts themselves are pretty big. This place has a little bit of everything, perfect to fulfill your sweet tooth.

What a great bakery. I'm reminded of the bakeries I'd visit as a child decades ago. I picked up two dozen pastries for my team. They are a huge hit. There are so many fresh pastries to choose from. The pastries are large and fairly priced. You could cut each in half and still keep everyone happy.Service was very friendly and helpful. I'd never visited before but came out happy and looking forward to cracking the boxes open in the office. If I lived in San Diego I'd visit regularly.

This is the spot that makes the soft, delicious burger buns for The Balboa and I stopped by to purchase a bag to take home! The owner was surprised because he doesn't usually sell the buns but I insisted and he sold me a bag of 12. I haven't tried any of their other baked goods yet but I hear they're all delicious. I went in there on a mission and wasn't interested in anything else at the time but I'm sure I'll be back one day for sweets (and more burger buns).

Went back to take on the Apple fritter challenge it's 12 inches around and weighs about 3lbs. This pace is so cool If you finish the thing off the totally super elegant baker will wink at you. It's like she's the daughter of the gods of Apple Fritter heaven. If your a competitive eater or just like tastiness then you have to find this place. It's hidden behind a tree. Sadly it's hit or miss when you buy donuts from the case the owner "the guy" sold me stale donuts. I would not have sold them to a customer. I would have said hey these are old and no good come back tomorrow. But that was not the case. We threw them all out.

Early afternoon snd they had very little in the display case. Place is old and sad shape looks like you are going back in time when you enter the store.
