Mazzy's Sports Bar & Grill - Kennesaw

IN REGARDS TO SERVICE :Sometimes it's the little things one does that actually turn out to be BIG things! There's a specific server and hostess at this wonderful location by the name of "Sam" who may all the difference in the world to me this evening with one little gesture... When my business partner and I came in- Sam didn't "have to" -but she intervened a slightly stressful situation -and brung the energy, creativity, JOY, and attentiveness that was much so needed at the time! She got us immediately seated - making us feel at ease and that we were in for good conversation, service and yummy food!!! I am a representative and consultant for the SBGA ( it's a business alliance) and I just "LOOOOVE" business critique and analysis so that the people who spend today's hard earned "inflation" money ... are informed and choose wisely to spend it "well" and enjoy their experience! And even though I am SBGA- I am not working and I came in for a sociable bite and casual evening. However -I was recently nominated as a Yelp elite- and so I guess the review was just what came naturally and right on time! THE FOOD: The food actually tasted "delectable" with perfect meat tenderness and gourmet flavor- summoning the yummy anticipation and experience of "Southern comfort on a platter" -that the photos portray!

Drinks were overpriced and weak so I'd stick to shots or beer if I were you.Music was blah. Food was blah. I probably won't be back. 2 stars because the chicken Alfredo rice was good but everything else was blah.

The food was amazing. Huge portion of beef nazzos with extra cheese and jalapenos. So tasty. My friend who brought me here eats at this place all the time with her husband. So, I will give five stars for the food. However,we waited about 30 minutes for the food? It was lunch time and they had two other customers. I was told that they are really busy at night and on weekends. Okay!But reason why I am taking away points is the fact that they did not have Menus. My friend was not able to upload the app and finally the server pulled the Menu up on her phone.About the service. She was friendly but not attentive. Towards the end of the food she brought us drink refills and to-go boxes, and a card to earn a free meal after so many visits. Yes, we were there a long time but this huge restaurant was empty, so we didn't hold seating from anybody.I'm a good tipper because I know how hard the servers work. This time I think I overtipped.This is probably a nice place for people who play pool and watch TV.Most likely I will go back for the beef nazzos with a friend but not very soon.

This was brought home from the restaurant. My husband got me the shrimp and grits knowing it's one of my favorites but this was just gross. The shrimp was so fishy. The meal contained so much grease and this was after soaking the napkin up top in grease from the meal. I threw this away right after this picture. I got maybe 3 bites in before I had to stop. What a waste of $17.

Came here for a date night. Got the wings, my guy had never bewn here before. Not sure if Saturdays are the best nights but it was busy. The people were all enjoying themselves with the available games like darts and pool. The food was deliverss hot and was good to taste. I would return here again. My guy travels and for his 1st visit he enjoyed an would return for another visit. Thank you!

The drinks here are super good! The chicken tenders and fries are really good as well. I do not like any of the appetizers, though.

The service, in the start at least, was quite good. We got our drinks, appetizers, and main dish orders in relatively quickly. However, thats about when the positives end. After we got our orders in, we waited upwards of fifty minutes for our food. On top of that, when we got our food many of it was slightly warm at best. I was lucky enough to have my chicken hot, but the mashed potatoes served along with it were room temperature and rubbery. Multiple dishes were also overcooked, leaving an overall bad taste (metaphorically) in all of our mouths. To top it off our waitress both took a very long time to give us any info about where our food was, and an equally long wait for our check. These long waits were not caused by being backed up either, as there was a total of 3 occupied tables. This is a very bad first impression of this establishment, and we most likely won't be eating here ever again.(Total time: nearly TWO HOURS)"The to-go boxes are better than the food!" - my family

my boyfriend and I wanted a new place to watch the football games. We typically go to Taco Mac or Sidelines but wanted to be adventurous! So, we decided on Mazzys.when I first initially walked in, it was like a regular sports bar... nothing really different about it. It was not busy. We went around 1pm... and we thought for sure there was going to be a lot of people in there, given it was a Sunday. Atmosphere was okay. Nothing too exciting about it. Big T.Vs which were great! we requested to change some of the TVs to the games we wanted to see and they did it with no hesitation. I myself was not that hungry so my bf and I decided to share the platter. it was fried shrimp, chicken tenders, fries, and mozz sticks. Let's start with the mozz sticks.... they were not good. they were cold and no cheese pull. literally. none. weakkkkk. Next was the tenders. idk how tenders can be JUICY AND DRY at the same time?.... but Mazzys accomplished that lol. Tenders we're not terrible though. On to the fried shrimp....these were surprisingly really good. Cocktail sauce was good too. The fries tasted like fries. was crunchy and for the most part pretty good! the best thing on the plate was their RANCH!!!!! Y'all, this place literally has the best ranch I've had in a long time.customer service was great. the staff was attentive and the manager changed the TVs no problem. Next time I go, I think I'm going to stick with their seafood and fries. Overall I am giving it a 3.

Love coming here for lunch and seeing Sam & Tara! The chicken pasta and cheese bread are delicious!

Please don't bother with this place. My wife and I got 2 MOAB burgers that were beyond dry. Absolutely no flavor. We got it to-go, so my wife called and the manager on duty said that " was not possible " that the burgers were not made correctly. He was basically calling us a liar. We have been here many times before and had great service and food. We won't be back because of the way the manager responded and his flippant attitude. Today is 3/08/24 at 7pm.
