This review is for both Meat shop and Grocery shop. Meat corner staff is not helpful, they have just goat and chicken cuts. Fish choices are limited to frozen. Grocery shop has good collection but prices are more reasonable in other nearby Indian grocery stores.

Got a frozen fish from this store. When tried to clean it it smells like a rotten fish. The price of the fish was almost 25 usd. They should not sell these rotten fish in their store.These ppl should be reported to health departments . It's a major health code violation... I am going report this store to the federal health department for selling stale old rotten fish.

This place has a limited selection vs other Indian grocery options nearby, and is relatively expensive for same items. They say they honor Microsoft PRIME but that's basically false. So many items are excluded that you pay the full label on most things in your grocery basket consistently. I've challenged the manager a couple of times on this, and he tells me to read the contract (basically, "shut up and go away"). The net is that sales items and staples like paratha, rice etc are all excluded. Except that the said "sales items" are the same price all year around....pssst...not really on sale.Anyways...I would recommend Apna Bazar on 148th vs this place.

Yet another place for Indian groceries but definitely the best one for the collections they have in the Redmond - Bellevue area. Most of the popular brands which were available in India are available here. They even have DVDs of Indian movies for rent/sale. I think that is illegal stuff though. The negative part about this place is the club card they offer which is almost useless.Pros: Location and CollectionCons: expensive, their club card is not of great use

I had never been to an Indian grocery before. To my surprise, my very Chinese parents who flew up from Hawaii to visit me for the week asked to visit an Indian grocery. I say surprise because we were the kind of family that ate Chinese food at home and dining out when I was growing up.There are many Indian grocery stores in the Bel-Red/Overlake area near my home. I didn't know which one was best. So I decided to take them to the most established Indian grocery of the bunch, Mayuri.Mayuri Foods is located at Overlake Center next to Pizza Hut. It is associated with the same name Mayuri Bakery that is two shops down. The main reason I haven't visited an Indian grocery until now is I thought that I would feel out of place and wouldn't know what many of the products were.But upon visiting the shop, that perception was debunked. They have a nice fruit and vegetables selection here with reasonable prices. Like okra for $1/lb. and fresh peanuts for $2/lb. And there is nothing exotic about potatoes and tomatoes is there? Yes there were items here that I wouldn't know how to cook, but I was mostly familiar with what was offered in the produce selection.Next to the produce section, they have what looked like a takeout curry corner that seemed popular with shoppers. While there is fresh produce, they don't sell fresh meat. They do sell frozen meats and there is a sizable frozen foods section. In the back of the store, you will find a section offering religious supplies and further to the right you will find a snacks area. They also sell Indian health/personal care products here as well.A nice thing about shopping here is that they have a price check machine in the back if you don't see a price tag on a product. Just scan the barcode to see the price.As for the store interior, I thought that it was well laid out, clean and quite organized. Based on my visit, the clientele here is predominantly South Asian. My parents and I were the only ones who weren't.If you want to broaden your culinary horizons, Mayuri is worth checking out for their Indian grocery items and produce. While you might feel a little out of place shopping here, the product selection isn't as foreign as your mind makes it out to be.

Good organic paneer is only sometimes available but when it is it's nice to get it. I'll take a pic of the package if they stock it again. Organic dals available in prepackaged packs. Okra is available sometimes and comes in styrofoam and plastic wrap which I understand is for convenience but I would like to buy bhindi without the styrofoam etc.They have some bulk bins in the back- I buy somethings from them and they haven't had any issue with me using my reusable bags there. They don't tare it but that's ok. I hope they will get more bulk bins. I would buy at least the organic dals and spices from bulk bins. Right now I buy some nuts and cinnamon sticks and some random things from their bulk. Overall I'm giving 4 stars because lately they hired some nice ladies who are pleasant cashiers and they have tried to help me before. And I hope that the owners will expand their organic offerings because that's extremely useful and use less plastic .Happy cooking!

Got chicken drumsticks from this place they actually mix old stale chicken with new pieces and turn them so from outside you think it's fresh but it's actually not. When you ask the uncle to provide fresh he gets angry and says to return or don't buy the meat. Have got stale chicken drumsticks twice from here not going back any more . They should be reported to health officials
