I'm very sad to report that their quality in bakery items has dropped since my last visit. Four different flavors of eggless and regular cakes were stale and dry, and the cream frosting seemed more artificial tasting than it used to be. I don't know if it was an off day, or maybe the baker or recipe has changed, but I hope they improve their quality soon.

Convenient spot to grab some Indian sweets, snacks and biriyani. Many people seem to order biryani and snacks to eat at their booth-style tables. Self-service spot. it was pretty busy on a Tuesday night ~5pm. Like all other Indian sweets, these are extremely sweet. They have a huge selection of over 20 Indian sweets. Most are ~$16 a pound. Which is roughly $2-4 a piece. It's fun being able to sample a variety of sweets. Only downside is that they don't seem to be very fresh. This time I went, I got their snacks: Samoas. It was in a hot case, so it had a nice and crispy exterior with a warm interior. The potato and pea filling was good, but definitely needed a bit more flavor.

Mayuri! Oh dear, Mayuri! Why? Why did you do this to your most loyal customer? I'm someone who argues with people when they say that the food here is average. I ordered my usual- paneer 65 and veg biryani today around 3.30 pm. What I was given was stale/old rice and the quantity for far less than what you usually give. The paneer 65 biryani was basically veg biryani with lackluster paneer thrown in. Not the usual big, juicy chunks. The rice was broken and not the long grain ones.Similarly the veg biryani had the rice that was identical to the paneer 65 one. Generally paneer 65 biryani has Indo-Chinese kinda flavor. This time it was just veg biryani with paneer. The yogurt was sour and something just didn't seem right with the taste. Similarly saalan had ginger pieces?!?Did you change your chef? Were you having an off day? Please bring back the original taste to your Biryanis.

Don't be fooled by the name, it's not just a bakery, they have a full menu for entrees that you can use the tables to dine in or order to go. My client highly recommend this place, he stated that his dad is extremely picky since he is Indian and usually isn't pleased with restaurant's Indian food, but his dad requested to come back after trying it out because he was impressed. That's a good sign! He told me that he would have never found this place if he wasn't in the area to randomly stubble into here and to ignore the reviews because it's all from non-Indian people complaining about service and not the actual food. It's legit, all the clientele are Indian. I actually get my massage in the same parking lot and just rolled down the bottom of the hill to try out this place since I was also in the area. I've never tried goat before, but I was convince to try the goat biryani. For some weird reason, instead of a quick 15 minutes drive home, there was a 40 minute traffic because of all the construction and road closures, but good thing the food was so flavorful that it held up well. I was so hungry from selling the food the whole ride back, wow it's strong. The portion is huge, it's made for 2 people or something, I made 3 meals out of it all for only $15. I think they also own the Mayuri grocery store that's right next door also. Tell me about your experience if you've been here or is going to after reading this review:)

*This review is just for their Hot Mirchi Bajji*My hunt for the best chili bajji ends here. Grocery shopping at Mayuri is never complete without getting a plate of their hot chili Bajji to-go. It's convenient to order at the kiosk, do my shopping while it's being prepared and pick it up on my way out. It's made to order, so very fresh and really spicy It comes with lots of chutney and pickled onions. It's more of a cafe than a bakery. They have a huge menu of chaat, appetizers, mains. A very small seating area and Indian flavored cakes. Cannot vouch for the other items, though. But, if you are a mirchi bajji lover, you know where to go!

If you're on the hunt for a unique and indulgent dessert experience, look no further than the Mayuri Special Paan Ice Cream. From the moment I took my first bite, I was transported to a world of exquisite flavors and delightful textures. The combination of creamy ice cream infused with the aromatic essence of paan leaves creates a symphony of taste sensations unlike anything I've ever experienced. Each spoonful is a harmonious blend of sweetness, spice, and freshness, with just the right hint of herbal undertones. What truly sets this ice cream apart is its perfect balance. The sweetness of the ice cream is expertly offset by the subtle bitterness of the paan leaves, resulting in a flavor profile that is both complex and utterly satisfying. And let's not forget about the texture. Creamy, smooth, and luxuriously rich, every mouthful is a decadent delight that leaves you craving more.

I think the folks behind the counter should decide on one language and do well with it to avoid so many communication problems. The person taking the orders didn't know how to describe things. We wouldn't have to do that if there was a stable menu that didn't keep cycling every few seconds. After 10 minutes of studying the online menu, the guy says it's an old menu and that's why they don't have any of those things. This guy looked at me for a few seconds like I asked him to go and dismantle the James Webb telescope currently orbiting about a million miles away if what they say is right, after I asked him "why didn't you say that when I asked about the QR menu?"The food used to be better a few years ago. I know potatoes and rice hasn't changed so I can't figure out what recipe they used to make a dosa so terribly. They chutneys were slightly better than the dosa. Everything was poorly made and the taste reflected it and I'm glad I didn't order too much more. The biryani wasn't bad, but that's not some great thing to be known for "not bad...".
