Mayflower Chinese Restaurant

I Ordered the following two items today - a large fried rice and a large order of the sweet and sour chicken.Food was ready in 20 minutes and customer service was friendly.Food portions were big but it lacked flavor and taste.

Around lunch time the place was full with a short wait. We ended up sharing a large table with another party. Ordered off the dim sum menu and loved everything! Service is a bit slow with so many people and we ended up paying up front instead of having the check brought over. Delicious food though!

Their lunch special general tso's and fried rice scratched my American Chinese food craving itch, it was about average. BUT their crab rangoon were AMAZING! I hadn't been here since high school. It's good to know this place hasn't changed much.

Best little family wok in Chicago. Really modestly priced, simple, and very casual. Mostly takeout but they have a few tables. They will make an order personalized, and it's prepped quickly. They have catering portions. You have to try the crab rangoon. Plenty of free parking because it's in the shopping center.

My neighborhood Chinese place and the only one I order from. Wish they did online ordering though.

We've been getting food from Mayflower for YEARS, maybe ? 20+ years. It's quick, delicious, a great amount, and prices are completely reasonable. Tons of parking, as it's in a plaza with several other businesses, including a Jewel food store. Lunch/dinner specials are unbeatable. There are a couple tables, but really, nobody eats there--business is almost ALL takeout. Combo appetizer is a great deal, and ribs are divine. My favorite dish is the YuShan Beef!

Good Chinese food . Try everything you will love it . I love the salt and pepper Shrimp. Try this place.

I love this place. Same great flavors for over 20 years. I have always loved their chicken wings, vegetable egg rolls, fried rice, spicy fried tofu with vegetables, and crab rangoon. I am an American of Chinese descent. If the lady on the phone isn't yelling at you then you're ordering from the wrong spot. If the cooks in the kitchen aren't yelling at each other, you're at the wrong spot.

If you want to be charged $60 for what should have been 4 lunch specials, discover one is missing and they actually charged non-special prices, and when you call be told "too bad" and have them hang up on you, then go here. Otherwise pick one of the multitude of other Chinese places in the area. Utter rip off.
