Came for a date with my husband and enjoyed a cozy rainy night in an intimate setting. We had a wonderful time! Location: We made reservations for a Sunday night at 6pm online. Located in Pike Place we were seated indoors upstairs side by side where we had a nice view of the ferris wheel at night. Service: We had a very kind gentleman who provided excellent service and was so friendly. Food: - French onion soup - very delicious and great portions. My husband and I shared everything - fois gras - this was our favorite item of the night! So good! - half baguette with butter - very tasty bread- pork tomahawk - we ordered this because it seemed to be highly recommended. It was tasty but overhyped... we've had better at other restaurants. We felt it lacked some elevated flavor but it was nicely cooked and juicy. Potatoes and veggies were a nice addition. - filet mignon steak with blue cheese- the steak was also perfectly cooked. Very tasty and really enjoyed the salad - the fries were ok. - creme brulee - standard dessert but nicely done. Overall, we really enjoyed our meal here!

I was nervous because of the lower star rating they have... I should have paid closer attention to the reviews. First, the food was fantastic- I gave an additional star for that. Pork chops, escargot, French onion soup and a rabbit special. But the service? Awful. Slow. Uncommunicative. Attitude. The server was in the middle of training someone (I think?) that was never addressed (it should be). Maybe she was training her replacement? That would be satisfactory - the trainee had a much better demeanor. Apart from the negative facial expressions, lack of communication i.e. disappearing while our food wait times ticked longer and longer - never asking how the food was - never offering to box the food - never checking in while we were being blasted by sunlight as the clock ticked longer and the afternoon sun shifted. - their tip was adjusted to a more than fair amount to account for the lacking service quality. Still never asked if we needed a box. I had to walk to them and ask. Then it was brushed off and insisted that they box it for me. I did not trust her to handle my food behind closed doors. And then to top it off, I specifically asked the trainee? to bring me a box because I did not want them to do it for me. That should be respected. I was respectful with how I asked. The actual server came over and grabbed the plates, asked which needed a box. Only mine. She grabbed my plate and balanced the BOTTOM of my friends plate on my FOOD while she positioned the plates "properly" - it was still not proper and was offensive. I left without my food. Coming from a food service background in fine dining this is unacceptable. Every guest should be treated the same as the next, so on and so forth. I could add more but the plate balancing and touching my food with the plate bottom was my final strawGorgeous view though and pork chop was fantastic, even with what little I ate! Would be nice to have for later :)

Excellent service and quiet but very quaint ambiance. The food is delicious and from what the staff shared, authentically French. A great spot for a romantic night out.

A magical night. Was a special birthday dinner, and the Maximilien team took account of that with one of the best tables in house, with full view of the Puget Sound and The Seattle Great Wheel. The experience was that of being teleported to Paris for the moment, from it's romantic setting, evening lighting, the properly set dinner tables, down to the French accents of the service staff. We each had the Champagne Flight, followed by Les Huitres Fraiche (Fresh Oysters) along with Escargots à la Bourguignonne. The main courses was a seared 16oz Cote de Porc Tomahawk Chop, the other a Filet Mignon and Lobster Tail special. That fine meal in the most charming environment will be prompting us to watch Disney's Ratatouille again as soon as we return home!

Loved the out of the way location hidden within the depths of Pike's Pkace along Alaskan Way. It's a French eatery and bar and a welcome respite from the busy busy crowded Pike's Place. The menu looks great. Nit cheap but worth it. I had some oysters on the half shell and a local brew. Beautiful views. And the bartender Joe...he's the man !

A small restaurant hidden in Pike Place. The best French cuisine I've had. Definitely the best French onion soup I've ever had. Try to come in time to enjoy the sunset too. I don't think the duck needed that much lentils but it was still delicious. Cream puffs were amazing and filet was a little bigger than expected which was nice. Also that liver was the best I've had too

My husband and I made a reservation here to enjoy a nice dinner before taking the monorail to Climate Pledge arena for a Saturday concert. We were sat promptly, right along the windows, and the timing of our dinner was perfect for the evening. The service was great, not overbearing but attentive. We ordered onion soup, oysters on the half shell, duck confit, flat iron steak and frites, and the basque cheese cake. We also started with a couple of cocktails before moving onto wine. Everything was great!

This restaurant has a magical view! Very old and quaint building. The good and services is top shelf! Side note: Not a great place to bring someone with ADA requirements. Bathroom in the restaurant, but upstairs.

I love, love, love the space. So well designed and lovely. This afternoon graced a friend's 80th bday in a corner window table on the main floor. I miss the Happy Hour on the deck. Please bring it back? One star off for a rather pricey lunch menu. If it were a bit more reasonable I'd come here more regularly, not just for special occasions.
