Maui Hawaiian Grill

I was craving some Hawaiian food and decided to come here! I got the BBQ and Katsu Plate which fulfilled everything I wanted. It also comes with mac salad, rice and cabbage. The BBQ beef also did not have a lot of fat trimmings, which was a plus!

Maui Hawaiian Grill is an absolute delight! If you're looking for generous portions and delicious pork, this is the place to go. Every meal I've had here has been packed with flavor, and the portion sizes are more than satisfying. The pork dishes, in particular, are outstanding--tender, juicy, and cooked to perfection. The friendly staff and laid-back atmosphere make the dining experience even better. Whether you're grabbing a quick lunch or enjoying a relaxed dinner, Maui Hawaiian Grill never disappoints. Highly recommend!

Huge portions. Meats are all very good. Be careful with the Mac if you don't like fish/seafood, they put tuna in it, kinda weird.

At the risk of being banned from the islands, we will admit that we liked this much better than the "other place" that has a location here in Phoenix and several on the islands. The taste and presentation took us right back to the Aloha sands and sea breezes.

My concerns and sympathy goes out to all of those affected by the fires. I had a weekend with Maui on my mind. I volunteered with a group to raise money for the Maui Fire & Disaster Fund with Maui United Way on Saturday. When I saw this place the next day, I took it as a sign. There is no such thing as a coincidence.Maui Hawaiian Grill served up some decent eats. The guy at the register was really nice and I enjoyed my Kalua Pork with Cabbage. I got my usual of all macaroni salad and no rice because I like to give my doctor something to worry about. ;D The kalua pork was a tad on the drier side but the mac salad was good. Just add some black pepper and keu a ka 'ono!I spent $16-something for my plate (including a $3 drink). Money well spent. As both the Phoenix and Honolulu Online Community Ambassador, I am sending my love to the islands forever and always.

Spending some time in Arizona and we were in the mood for some Hawaiian food. We pulled up our trusty Yelp and found Maui Hawaiian Grill. We called in our order and the employee was friendly. We arrived at Maui Hawaiian Grill in the Mill Pointe Center strip mall and needed to add another plate to our order. Inside was nice and big, with tables and looked very clean. It was busy inside and we let the cashier know we had to add another plate to our call in order, and let him know we were willing to wait for it. To our surprise, they called our number for pick up and let us know they rushed ordered our extra plate and there was no additional wait. Amazing customer service!! We made sure to tip him well. Got back and opened up our food. We ordered the Kalua pig combo with Bbq chicken $11.99, the chicken katsu plate $10.99 and the BBQ and katsu mix plate $12.99. Wow, big portions, everything came with 2 scoops rice and mac salad as well. Great pricing and great portion sizes!!! Food was good.

My family and I LOVE this place. Great portions, Mac is delicious, we always get 2 chicken teriyaki plates that feeds our family of 4 and have left overs. Customer service is always kind and always get speedy service. We haven't eaten there because we live around the corner and just take to go but it's always clean inside and a very calm ambiance when I enter.

What a hidden gem! You know it's a good place when there are tons of people inside when you walk in. Was greeted immediately, and their electronic menu was really easy to follow. I wish they had more pictures of their dishes so we could really see what combinations we would get. Ordered the katsu and bbq combination and let me tell you, they were huge! Almost threw my back out having to pick up such a heavy order. Ha! You won't leave hungry, almost like you're dining at your parents' house. Beef was super soft and full of flavor, and their katsu had a good crisp but wished they had more vs. the grilled chicken and beef were portioned more (no complaints as all were delicious). Their macaroni was bomb, and rice was cooked perfectly. As far as the sauces, they could use some work here as they don't have much flavor nor add to the proteins. Inside was pretty standard, nothing special with their decor, but that's how you know the food is going to be legit. One order is enough for two meals... unless you're ready to eat big. Additional parking in the rear if needed, and they have a decent sized outdoor patio seating area for the short window, we can be outside in AZ.
