Nice local Indian restaurant with lots of South Indian offerings. They're still pretty new but we saw other Indian customers there while we've been there. The curries come with a generous side of rice, and the hot spice is just right- enough to make your nose run but not kill you. The dosa wasn't the most crispy I had but decent. There's a lot of vegetarian offerings and lots of variety such as tiffins, dosas, and indo-Chinese foods. My husband really loved the butter chicken and the paneer pepper fry. I also really enjoyed those in addition to the chicken chettinad curry. The mango lassi is a bit pricy ($7) for what you get and it's on the sweeter side but had good mango flavor. Lots of seating options for larger groups too and lots of parking available.

First of all, I was pumped to see an actual Tamil restaurant open up in the area. So i was super excited to try out the food. I have gotten takeout from there thrice at this point and there are a few issues with the taste and flavor. I will start by saying that they have one of the best Biriyanis in the area. Every restaurant only offers the generic Dum biriyani while Masala Cafe has homestyle siraga samba biriyani. That one is a definite winner. Satti soru was also amazing. Unfortunately thats where it stops. I tries pomfret fry and tawa fish fry. Both of them were bad. Good masala and seasoning, but I could figure out that they are using old frozen fish. It tastes bad. The signature chicken fry was somewhat bland. I had the Milagu Eral Varuval, which looked like a gravy more than a fry. The attukal paya was also mediocre. Overall I will keep supporting the restaurant, but they should consider trimming their menu down and providing only the items which actually taste good. I understand that getting a good South Indian Fish fry is challenging in the East coast, maybe don't provide it if you cant make it right ?

Good ambience. Ordered Gobi Manchurian and taste was good. Portion was way too small. Service was slow but it's understandable. We ordered everything Medium spice.. but it turned out to be mild. Entries we ordered tasted Okay . Will give it another try and order something else.

Amazing food! Service was also great. Ambiance is nice.We ordered 2 Butter Dosa, 1 Masala Dosa, 1 Gunpowder Dosa and 1 Idly Vada Combo. Authentic South Indian food. One of the best places I have tried South Indian food. The Sambhar and chutney taste reminded me of South of India. Recommend this place 100%.Will be visiting again.

Visited with a lot of expectations, but came out very disappointed. Idlis were served cold, chutneys were bland and felt like they were thawed from the frozen kind, couldn't even get Mysore Masala Dosa right - the waitress kept insisting we will eventually see the "Mysore" chutney as we worked through the dosa - eventually acknowledging they messed up. Dosas were served cold as well.Not worth a revisit - hard pass.
