Masae's Teriyaki

This is a hidden gem, confidently located near several airport hotels. I ordered the beef and broccoli with a side of egg rolls (see pictures). The staff/owners were so nice! All smiles which made my day after a 4+ hour flight. I ordered beef and broccoli with a side of egg rolls to go. They freshly prepared my meal, which was still steaming hot when I got back to my hotel. You will see from the pictures that my order was a lot of food. They would deserve a 5-Star review, except for these minor items. The beef was a little tough and overdone and the egg rolls were a little greasy. These are minor comments as this business is working hard for your business in an area with limited restaurant options. Please try this deserving small business.

This used to a place i would frequent when i lived in Seatac. Went today for favorites..ribs, teri chicken, and wonton soup. I was sad as it all tasted different and has me wondering if this place is now under new ownership. If it is, i will not be back. I was disappointed as not like what I was expecting and wonton soup peppery and teri sauce spread all over meat.

Overnighting at one of the hotel just behind Masae's and definitely in search of good food. Couple of colleagues of mine recommended me the yummy Teriyaki Chicken.So Teriyaki it was and was very delicious. Lean chicken with Masae's sauce, on rice and coleslaw.Ready to go and get it again!

This use to be a "GO To Place" for teriyaki. I had been going there for years & the food quality / quantity & price was great. Went today & Masae's is under new management & everything has changed for worse & I was extremely disappointed. The new owners habe increased prices and are using lower quality meat, the teriyaki pork / beef were tough & lots of gristle found in lower grade meat & was also over cooked. They have changed the Teriyaki sauce/ Marinade & it's no longer tasty. I would suggest everyone to find a different Teriyaki Restaurant . . Went from 5 stars to barely 1 star. . IMO. .

Really good place. We had the sweet and sour along with the teriyaki chicken. The pot stickers were great. The egg drop soup was a great starter. We definitely recommend this. The perfect flavors you would expect from a good teriyaki shop. The staff were just so welcoming and kind. We'd love to visit again soon. Thanks.

Let me start by saying I don't even know why theirs negative comments about this place. Staff was beyond cool and patient because I take some time to figure out what I want ...But the food was some of the best Japanese food I've had outside of a Japanese Steakhouse...just might slide before I leave tomorrow lol..

The food was amazing and fresh. The service was friendly and quick. This may be a small restaurant but they run it well.

After several minutes of waiting and requesting a beverage and, despite there being empty tables, a staff member finally approached me without any semblance of friendliness.When I tried to place my order for drinks, the service went from bad to worse. The server was curt and dismissive, cutting me off mid-sentence and showing visible impatience as I asked about the menu. After eventually placing my order for drinks, I was subjected to a more rudeness. The wait wasn't the only issue. The cleanliness of the restaurant was also questionable. I noticed crumbs on the table and a sticky residue on the menus, which indicated a lack of basic hygiene standards. A clean dining environment is fundamental, and Masae's Teriyaki failed to meet even this basic requirement.Throughout this dismal experience, it was clear that the staff lacked proper training and were overwhelmed. Their rude attitudes and lack of professionalism were evident and completely overshadowed any positive aspects of the visit.Due to the poor treatment I received, I decided to leave before even ordering food. The combination of rude staff, poor service, and a lack of attention to detail made it clear that customer satisfaction is not a priority at Masae's Teriyaki. In conclusion, Masae's Teriyaki was a major disappointment. The rude and unprofessional staff completely ruined the dining experience. This was one of the worst dining experiences I've ever had, and I sincerely hope that the management takes these criticisms to heart and makes the necessary improvements. Until then, I cannot recommend Masae's Teriyaki to anyone seeking a pleasant dining experience. Save your time, money, and patience for a restaurant that truly values its customers and delivers on its promises.

Masae's Teriyaki is my favorite place to get my lunch/dinner when I stay in Seattle. My favorite is Tofu Teriyaki! Many teriyaki restaurants in US put too much sugar and other things, but Masae's one is perfect taste for me, not too salty and not too sweet!This restaurant is located near most of the SeaTac airport hotels. I stay at Fairfield, Country Inn, Aloft, Hilton Garden Inn, and Comfort Inn, so I can just walk to this restaurant. I believe this is the family owned restaurant, so you need little patience while their peak time!
