Simply stated - sub-par food, poor service. There are so many other places to dine within walking distance in this village so i would recommend picking another place with better food. The chicken soft tacos were bland but spicy, which was confusing. The pico served on side was way too spicy for a pico. The tacos were so spicy, I couldn't eat them. I had ordered the warm chicken tortilla soup but i couldn't eat it since my mouth could not take any more burning. The waitress didn't even ask if there was an issue with the soup since it wasnt touched, but I suppose she did not care. But she should have asked - I tell you because it reflects the service we got from each employee there. And of course, she did not take the soup off the bill. Even though there was enough staff available, and they seemed to have time, we got to look at a huge unbussed, messy table the entire time we were there. When we arrived, we were taken to our two person seat but the host blocked out ability to actually sit down and filled our waters while we just awkwardly stood there waiting. Then, when we left, I literally walked next to the host for about 6-7 steps before he reached the host stand and he did not say a word to us as we left. No "thank you, etc."We will not return. And judging on the culture they seem to create based on their staff, I am guessing management won't read Yelp reviews or comment on them since I am sure they really don't care.

Stopped by here for lunch after an appointment across the street. The service was friendly and efficient yet uninspired. Both of us ordered the tacos. My friend seemed satisfied with hers; however, I found the fish tacos to be overpoweringly fishy and without a harmonious salsa and [insert fancy word for other sauce they use on tacos] to bring everything together. Not worth having fish-smelling fingers for hours afterwards.

While I enjoyed my enchilada with chorizo, the service was not so good. I observed a couple sit down with their chips and salsa, and after 20 minutes, they left and went to the restaurant next door since no one took their order. I saw a giant group get up and ask for the check. For myself, they took my entree order wrong and had to redo the order. They lacked waitstaff on a weekday lunch. The waitstaff were busy and looked annoyed, as if they didn't want to be there.I would not recommend this restaurant.

I enjoyed the visit to this restaurant. Good service and ambience was also very nice in the bar area. We had a very tasty steak salad and the chile relleno.

Easy parking and no wait around 545pm on a Sunday for an outdoor table, with a dog friendly and quiet patio! I really liked the chorizo enchiladas, my husband liked the carne asada plate. Fast service as well. Would come back for more.

Came for dinner with a couple of friends on a Friday night after work. They were busy, as expected and we waited about 20 minutes for a table. The bar area was also packed, so you'll likely wait either way. Right after being seated, chips and salsa were brought over straight away. Always a welcome sign when you're hungry! Our server was friendly and promptly took our drink order. They did take a little while to arrive, but that's to be expected in a full house on a Friday. I ordered the carne asada with flour tortillas, wanting to have something that I don't often eat at home. Food came out fast and was hot and fresh. My steak was cooked properly and I thought everything tasted pretty good! I could have done with a little more rice and beans, but not a big deal. After dinner, we shared a molten chocolate cake with horchata ice cream which also came out quickly (guessing it's premade since you don't order in advance). Flavor was good for what it was. Overall, good service and food, busy environment. I'd return again.

The service was friendly and fast. They do provide free chips and salsa. The chips were on the harder side; salsa was a bit watery and bland. This place is on the pricier side, unfortunately their pricing does not match their food. We got their chicken wings which had a good spicy flavor and their quesadilla was good, nothing wow. The restaurant was spacious, the only thing that was annoying were the flies that kept landing on us. They have a lot of parking.

Onion-chilada. That's what comes to mind when I think about Masa. Located in Gilman Village, Masa has more character on the outside than in. Inside it's muted, neutral tones, and a few pictures that can easily be replaced. It is generic, spartan, and clean. The service was wonderful. Kirill was an amazing bartender and if for them I'd give five stars. Kirill was warm, friendly, and very welcoming. Managed to make drinks and keep the bar customers going - Kirill was a hard worker! Despite that I won't return. I ordered the seafood enchilada, a quickly becoming new favorite of mine. The description was "shrimp and cod, poblano cream sauce, flour tortillas" neglecting "and one full onion". I'm fairly certain for every minced piece of cod there were two onions to accompany it. Now, I can manage sautéed onions, cooked down to near vapor. I am ok with that. These were not. These were raw onions and were impossible to avoid. I couldn't taste any shrimp and the cod was diced so fine that the raw onion flavor drowned everything else out. I despise raw onions. They are my least favorite food and I couldn't escape them. I ended up eating half of one and eating the black beans. They were mostly onion free.

I went here this afternoon and opted to try the chicken enchiladas. I found all the food to be under seasoned and bland. I was going to request salt and pepper but they were fairly busy at lunch and I kept nibbling. I left most of my rice and beans. The food was not bad, but there is a terribly large amount of room for improvement. The chicken in my enchiladas was chicken that had been grilled and then cubed. Not a lot of sauce was present either. I would have expected shredded chicken. The salsa at the table needed a little heat and seasoning. Would have been great. Really liked the consistency. Chips came nice and warm. Staff was all friendly and helpful. No issue there. No salt and pepper on the table. We arrived when it wasn't busy but it got jumping as it was lunchtime. Decor needs to be updated I think.
