Ma's Place Restaurant

Sunday Mornings are busy, and parking is limited, so plan accordingly. With that being said, the staff was nice and the food was good. The price is also very reasonable for what they serve you. My only disappointment was the take out charge for each itm.

This place! So I was going to make homemade biscuits and gravy (yes, from scratch) this morning only to find that I was missing ingredients. UGH! So we Yelped and found this place. Parking lot was full, so that's a good sign. We walked through the front door and immediately were transported back to Grandma's house by the smells and the feel...in an awesome way. The hostess and our server, and the other ladies who checked on us during our meal were all awesome. The food was delicious and big portions. My husband's gravy didn't taste like it came out of a package. In fact, all the food I tasted seemed to be from scratch. It was delicious and we all left happy. Thank you Ma's Place. We will be back.

Nice little dinner with big portions. Good pricing. A little high but so is everywhere. The bathroom could be cleaner.

Already posted review recently. But must mention SO THRILLED THEY ARE FINALLY UPDATING THE PLACE!! It's been DECADES, patrons will certainly appreciate the clean, bright new look!! YEAH!!

Food is good, service is great, ambiance the '70's.. The need to get new chairs in Bar and decent floor:).

Ha! We stood around outside on a sat with the locals chatting away. It was fun. I had dropped off my doggies at Banfield for dental work today so we decided to try it! We looked over the reviews and menu carefully. I decided to try the chicken fried steak. And.... I'm gonna have a Bloody Mary today!! Hubby is having steak n eggs. My BMary is good and no frills but very good! Love the olive.

Found this place while out shopping & decided to give it a try. Average patron age inside was about 72. The Good: Prices. Can't beat 12$ for a plate. 4$ coffee and 4$ bacon and I made it out for 20$+tip. Everything was cheap, and their menu was short and sweet. You don't have to flip through a tri-fold map of 100 choices to find what you want. The Bad: Unfortunately, the food was sub-par. I got the Benedict, because that's how I rate breakfast places. Came with hash browns. I got a side of bacon as well. The hollandaise was straight from the warmer and clumpy, ham was okay, and English muffin didn't seem toasted, which makes it very hard to cut apart. The eggs were on par. A small portion of hash browns. The bacon was spot on, not too crispy and not too rubbery. The coffee was watery with no kick. The Ugly: Cleanliness. My Moms place wouldn't have looked like this. At one point I was contemplating canceling my food and leaving. I sat at the bar which has a partial view of the cooks and kitchen. Beside the waitress (not mine) who was obviously sick and hacking every 5 minutes, I saw a guy sitting with his butt in the cooler for about 3 minutes to cool off I can only assume. The grime and dust bunnies on the wall and floor and hood vent and food station were all very visible. Just screams laziness by staff of ownership to let it fall so far behind. The Skinny: I won't go back. Even with the cheap prices. Too sketchy for me.

Reasonable prices. Good service and delicious food. Couldn't believe how quiet it was considering all the filled tables. Will be back.

Been enjoying the breakfast here for years, it's all good and reasonably priced. They have recently painted and have new flooring, it's nice.I only have one bad note, the bathrooms are absolutely filthy!! I've seen cleaner gas station bathrooms! I almost felt sick walking in the ladies bathroom, seriously the very worst in everyway!

Came by it completely by accident but will likely return. The Hobo Hash was huge and tasty and my wife had the chicken fried steak, loved the gravey. Coffee was on the weak side, but acceptable. Pleasant wait staff. It appears to be an old establishment, so the vibe and ambiance match its age. There was a diverse clientele range when we were there. What made it a place to return to was their pancake.
