Martin’s Chicken & Waffles

We just moved to the area and found this treasure. My wife had chicken and waffles and I had the Hot chicken & waffles. We also had turnip greens, white beans, and a pulled pork sample. Yes, we had leftovers.The food was delicious, the chicken was juicy, full of flavor, and crispy.This is a family-owned and run restaurant and you can taste their love and passion in the food.The service well.... they make you feel like family.We look forward to bringing family & friends that visit from out of town to taste Nashville / southern goodness.We highly recommend Martin's Chicken and Waffles

Just off the main square, Martin's Chicken and Waffles is in a repurposed office buidling from years back. However, the interior is warm and welcoming. The seating is classic southern kitchen.Martin's serves up southern meals/sides, particularly fried chicken. The chicken is very good, served crispy and hot. We chose Nashville hot but classic fried chicken is also available. The gentleman who greated us was very helpful and pleasant. Took great care of the whole place. We were there late in the day so not too busy but lots of takeout going on.

Amazing!!! Hubby & I Just finished eating there right now and omg the best chicken I have where eaten. Everything was delicious and service a+. Highly recommend them next time I am in Gallatin Tn will for sure be eaten there again.

My husband and I had been wanting to try Martins Chicken and Waffles for some time now and I'm so glad we did! The chicken was amazing! So flavorful and moist and good sized! The waffle seemed to be more on the sourdough side which isn't my favorite but still good and the staff was so nice! Will definitely be back to try some of the other food that looks amazing!

Small, low key, friendly, perfect. This is the place you go when you want to have genuine Nashville hot chicken. The chicken and waffles were amazing. I've only had chicken and waffles once, in Atlanta. It was not the same. Here, my brain kept going, "This is wrong." But my mouth kept saying, "No no, keep going." The service was also wonderful, friendly and attentive but not intrusive. Definitely will come back next time I'm in Gallatin.

Martin's is a great homie little spot off of the Gallatin Downtown Square. We decided on the Hot Chicken & Waffles and the Salmon Patties and it definitely did not disappoint!!! The food and the setting in combo with the pleasant service made for a fantastic afternoon.

Delicious Nashville hot chicken! My husband and I stumbled upon this great little spot. It's family owned and operated and delicious. Stop in and support their business.

The service was awful and the food was not good they messed up my order which was chicken Tenders and a side salad they gave me fries instead of a salad and they charge me for both worst place I did not recommend you eating there and the chicken was hard but they gave me a butter knife to cut it .(They didn't even check on us)

Catfish - Chicken and waffles were all great. Owners were very kind and attentive! My kids loved the old books and coloring books.
