My husband and I first dined at The Marsh House on our very first date three years ago, so it holds a special spot in my heart. While I don't recall what I had on that first visit, this time we arrived early enough to take advantage of their happy hour, which was fantastic. We started with fresh oysters for $1.50 each, followed by the Good Samaritan cocktail ($10), which was similar to a whiskey sour--smooth and refreshing. The Thai beef skewer ($8) had a perfect balance of flavor and spice, making it a great appetizer. For my main course, I had a cup of gumbo, which was delicious, while my husband ordered the hanger steak cooked medium rare. It was done to perfection! To finish the meal, we had their bread pudding, which was absolutely out of this world. The dessert was generously provided on the house, which was a thoughtful and much-appreciated gesture. Our waitress was amazing, offering excellent recommendations that enhanced our experience. For parking, there are several options: paid street parking, a garage, or valet for $8 plus tip.The Marsh House will forever hold a special place in my heart, and I look forward to many more visits in the future.

With so many places to try in The Gulch, Marsh House stands out. It's in a great area and we loved being able to park right across the street in the Icon parking garage-- it made our trip into town SO easy. The space is gorgeous-- we sat inside but the patio in the front looked just as enjoyable. Floor to ceiling windows; colors that complement each other well; care taken in the choice of materials. When I sat down, the very first thing I said was "this place is SO nice." It truly is.We had a great, friendly server. He was attentive and made sure our experience was a breeze! To start, we saw another table order the ham and cheese croissant and it looked so good I had to have it! It was delicious. For mains, we ordered a Shrimp Po'Boy and the Fried Oyster Benedict. We both loved our meals, and were so excited to eat that I of course did not get a picture! For drinks, we got the Celebrity Jeopardy and the Medieval Barber cocktails. These were such a treat! We were very satisfied with our visit and look forward to coming back.

For my birthday I visited Nashville and I heard such great things about Marsh House. So I decided to check it out myself . We made reservations and we were seated right away . We were just in time for the happy hour , and I am so glad that we did. Our waitress was extremely nice she was able to answer all our questions and explain the menu to us in detail . The oysters were so good . We also got the jumbo soup which was nice and hot . Also , since it was my birthday I was able to have their chocolate cake with ice cream . It was also amazing and I finished every bite. Marsh House is a restaurant where you can celebrate any type of event . The music wasn't to loud you can hear the person or people you went with . The decor and the lighting gives the restaurant a modern flare . This restaurant is located in The Gulch right next to the Thompson hotel . It is in such a great area , there are so many things to do. Please if you have the opportunity to check this restaurant out do it . Until next time .

My wife and another couple went here for dinner after hanging out at Broadway for the day. We were seated right away even though we didn't have reservations and our waitress was top notch. She kept checking in on us and recommended the best meals we had on our trip to Nashville. I ordered the Lobster Diavolo and it was the perfect combination of spicy and savory. It came with generous portions of lobster and it was topped with Italian bread crumbs. One of our friends got the best spaghetti dish we have had. The sauce was Beef Stroganoff-esque. It was. 10/10. The ambiance was very chic and professional. It is definitely the place you want to order nice wine and great cocktails. Overall, a 10/10 in our book!

Went in for a Sunday dinner and the atmosphere was so cute. The oysters were underwhelming but the service and other food that we had was good. The redfish spice and texture was amazing!

The food is ok . I ordered the pan roasted Halibut . The presentation was spectacular . However the taste was a little underwhelming. With that said , the service is great and ambiance is very nice . However it's a little hard to have a conversation with your table mate due to the noise. The entire place is hard surfaced. Which carries noise . Our bill for two people was approx $ 245 .00 . For the price I feel I'd been better served elsewhere . I was very disappointed.

Attended the happy hour's. They don't have a big selection on the happy hour menu. The restaurant itself has a nice patio seating. Full bar drink selections was a plus. worth the visit for oysters lovers.

We loved how accommodating Marsh House was with our dog. They have a dog-friendly patio and provided water for the fur baby. We got the salmon tartare, shrimp ceviche, pork hash and marsh burger. We were sharing everything so they even cut the burger in half and served it separately. The salmon tartare wasn't our favorite as we aren't big fans of the overload of fish eggs on top-- it made it taste a bit fishy. Service was phenomenal and loved their bloody mary.

Food was incredible, atmosphere was modern and charming. Todd, the sommelier, is noteworthy! Great recommendations, vast knowledge of wines. Waiter was not very attentive, had a large party so we didn't have much of his attention. He was adequate. Pricey but worth it. My BIG Complaint is after spending $500 for 2 people we were asked to pay $8 for parking!! Maybe they should rethink that! It's the principle not the price. However, the valets were wonderful
