One of the locations that is a must stop at Pike Place. Poultry seasoning!!! My go to for my Thanksgiving turkey and roasting chicken. This last visit I picked up some of their teas. It was such a pleasant experience the associate was so helpful in letting me smell the teas and information she was giving me. Apparently you can purchase online now which was good for my restocking of spices.

Feels Like Home: Whenever I'm home for the holidays, MarketSpice at Pike Place Market in Seattle is always on my must-visit list. The Cinnamon-Orange Tea is one of a kind & a flavorful combo that delights me every single time! Yum! While home for Thanksgiving, I decided to try some of their other items as well!Cinnamon-Orange Tea: One of an kind! Incredibly fragrant & so delicious that there's no need for sugar...its sweetness is all natural! I picked up 2 Boxes; 48 Tea Bags. I love this tea so much, because it reminds me of home. Whenever I run out, I won't even throw away the box until a new one arrives! Love it! Spiced Cider Mix (4 oz.): Another winner! I tried a sample & immediately had to take home with me. Reminds me of a warm hug. It's fragrant & perfect for winter. I also purchased this for my brother & sister-in-law. They loved it as well. Note: Be sure to also purchase Apple Cider at the grocery store to complete this mix!Cinnamon-Orange & Clove Hot Chocolate(6oz.): Purchased for the first time; it's a unique combo. Glad I tried it. Milk is needed. I tried it with almond milk.Chai Tea(10 bags): Purchased for the first time. I also love that there are also smaller samples to buy at MarketSpice.Masks: Still required around 2022 Thanksgiving, 2022 Christmas and as of January 2023. Free masks are at the door!Overall: I keep MarketSpice Cinnamon-Orange Tea stored at home all year long, as I absolutely love it. Each sip takes me back to Seattle & reminds me of being at home with family; it's a natural winner!

Don't let the name fool you - this place has a lot more than just spices. I bought some butterfly pea flower tea. They happened to have some for sampling and I've been wanting to try this forever. It's a tea that looks blue, but if you add lemon it will turn a violet or purple due to the change in pH. The taste is wonderful too. High in antioxidants and other health benefits. Bought my daughter some different tea too. My son bought some gorgeous brass/copper salt and pepper grinders. They are almost too pretty to use. Would definitely go back there again.

MarketSpice is one of those special places that are hidden away in the Pike Place Market but located in a little corner it is really a spice lovers' delight. There is literally basically ever type of spice you've ever wanted (and many that I didn't know existed).Yes its crowded and yet its hard to find things, but that is pretty much the charm of the place. So don't just get that store bought spice and leave it on your shelf five years, instead when making a special dish, come by here, get what you need and you will be rewarded with more flavor than you can imagine

When you find yourself standing in a quaint store, surrounded by every conceivable space, what do you do? You buy all the spices! I absolutely love market spice. The staff is so incredibly knowledgeable, and they literally have almost any and all spices that you could possibly want or need for your cooking and baking pleasure. They are located in pikes market, which makes them difficult to get to because of parking, but it's definitely worth the push. On top of that. The place as I'm sure you can imagine, is filled with tourists that are more interested in other things going on in the marketplace, so shopping at market spice for me, it's a perfect little getaway from the rest of the market. The staff is amazing. I love how knowledgeable they are, but interestingly enough, they are also open to learning. I was having a conversation with one of them about a specific spice and she clued me into some new options, and I was able to share some knowledge with her that she wasn't aware of. Literally an amazing experience to be able to share information in that regard. They are reasonably priced, and I walked out with a little bit of this, and a little bit of that, and all I know, is that I will be cooking and baking for months to come. What I really love is that they have an online presence, and any other items can be ordered online and shipped directly to you. #WinningThey also offer a variety of teas from green tea varieties, to herbal to some amazing black tea options. The teas are delicious. I purchased those also! They even have cute little tea pots and tea accessories. If you find yourself in pikes place market, definitely check out market spice.

First time here and I loved this place. I imagine what it was like when you would buy your spices like this. The people were kind and the vibe was laid back and calm. Love their Spiced Tea Cinammon Orange blend.

I've been going to this cute retail shop with amazing spices and teas years. This retail shop now asks for TIPS when you checkout! So you pickup a box of tea and they want a TIP. What's the TIP for? The TIP culture is out of control.

Ok first of all, the Googlemaps directions to find Market Spice were very confusing/did not lead me to the correct location, so it took me longer than it should have to find it--but it's right by the main entrance of the market, right behind/to the left where the iconic fish throwing stand is. When I walked in, there is immediately some hot tea to consume--I ended up grabbing this on my way out due to the slight line, but it was really good! It was their orange cinnamon tea, sweetened, and it was piping hot which is my ideal tea temp, especially on a nippy Seattle Saturday morning. The store is smallish, and there was a decent amount of people present, so it was a bit tight to navigate. The store has a good assortment of tea, spices, and candles! I grabbed some of their orange cinnamon tea bags, and a candle, and the person checking me out was pleasant and efficient. I will definitely be back to restock on tea!

MarketSpice is a retail shop located in the Pike Place Market that dates back to 1911. We got to taste some of the tea samples and ended up going in to look around.Service was ok, not super friendly, but no real complaints. I just was not impressed and there was a lack of personality of the employees that did not feel too inviting. It is a cute little shop with a variety of teas and picked up a Bee mug for my Mom, and a 10-Teabag Pack of the MarketSpice Cinnamon-Orange Signature Black Tea and a Chai 10-Teabag Pack.It was just Ok for me but stop in if you are in the area and your experience maybe better.

There were about five people working and all of them were rude. The guy yelled at me for trying to read the spice names and then didn't offer to help when I was clearly trying to buy some. Just watched me silently. Super unfriendly during the whole interaction, it made me want to leave. Spices are a normal price, nothing special. Kinda dirty inside.
