Came here for Pho Than Brothers but they've changed ownership for this location. Gave it a try and very satisfied. Been eating here for last 5+ years. Will definitely come back.

First off, I am Vietnamese. I can say the broth is amazing, prob one of my fav in the north end. They will bring it in a new chef soon to expand a menu. And a chef is from Vietnam cooking in many different kitchens (exciting). The person that runs the counter here quite lovely older grandmother-- she is really nice and extended her generosity to help play with my son so I can eat. Being a single-dad, or a teething toddler, i need all the help. Rarely, do you see community Business actually care about you beyond just collecting money. Next door Sunny Teriyaki is also kind and understand family. Usually come here for a viet namese coffee and a bowl of rare steak and tendon pho. Do you wanna try to tendon (collagen) and steak?

Apparently they changed the name from Pho Than Brothers to Market Pho recently. I talked to the waiter/youngish manager and he said everything's pretty much the same except the name. I'm not sure if they're no longer affiliated with Than Brothers but it's a nice change. They have a nice menu and the price is still quite reasonable around $12.95 for a medium pho. I feel like I've stuck with the size small until now but I went on a big run earlier so I decided to go with the medium this time. Honestly it didn't feel that different - the waiter struggled to tell me the difference too. I think the amount of noodles is a little more than the small. I think I like having a smaller beansprout to noodle ratio so I might go back to the small.I haven't been here for so long that I had to jog my memory by looking up reviews from the pho than brothers website. I came across some reviews talking about the restaurant having complimentary cream puffs in the past but they're no longer available post covid. I started coming here around 2022 so I've never had the cream puffs until today. But it looks like they're back again. It's this tiny cream puff that fits well within your palm but it was good. So good that it stopped me from going back to the soup infinitely because I wanted the salt very badly. They could've presented the cream puff better though - mine came placed right next to the bean sprouts. It looked so out of place I just laughed.I sweat a lot during the long run so I was craving some salty soup and you can get a lot of that here. In the past I've gossiped with my friend that they must be using MSG and talked some trash about the quality being mid. But this time around I got the salt I needed and the food tasted better than ever. It's still not mind blowing good but makes a fantastic recovery food after a solid workout. I feel blessed that I live within walking distance of a decent pho shop.

Pho was so good! The broth had so much flavor and the meat was tender. The waiter were also very good. Excellent service!
