I dined here during the weekend around 2PM on a rainy day. Parking was pretty easy with plenty of street spots available and free. I ordered at the window outside, and the cashier was friendly and patient with my dog and I, which it was our first time here. She even gave my dog a treat! I had the half Hot PNW crab roll with fries and clam chowder soup. They brought out my order quickly, in less than 10 minutes. I really liked their soup, perfect for a rainy day! Seating options are somewhat limited. Even on a rainy day, the seatings were pretty full, but I got lucky as someone was just leaving. Their outdoor seatings are cozy with the heat. My dog and I had a great experience, and it's a nice place to stop by for lunch. The next time we dine in, I will try a weekday lunch time!

Excellent food, but chaotic service. I came here on high recommendations. The biggest challenge was being served. I stood in an unorganized line. Two women pushed in front of me. This meant I could not find a place to sit,as they then threw their belongings on the last table available. Unfortunately, the host at the reservation stand witnessed them cutting In front of me and did nothing to help me. Not a welcome introduction to this restaurant. The host did appear shamed at his inaction , by hanging his head and avoiding eye contact with me during my ordering. Unfortunately, This shame did not give me a table or any other consideration for my lack of seating accommodation. I had to walk to the benches outside the nearby Starbucks to eat my food. But I did enjoy what i ordered, First, I had the clam chowder, which was rich and full of seafood. First time here, got the hot lobster roll. Second time here, got the full crab roll. Both were delicious and full of meat. My first lobster roll lacked the seasonings offered. However, the second time visiting, my crab roll was great. Buttery brioche roll, nice seasoning and an ample amount of fresh crab. Also on my second time coming here, I was able to get a seat and sit outside. I liked my food, but am hesitant to go battle for ordering and a seat. With roll, chowder and a glass of wine, it was about 75.00. Their outdoor accommodations are quite simple, which are fine by me. I don't want to struggle with others to place an order and be seated at these prices. Although the food was excellent and the service limited after you ordered, the chaos of seating took away from a lot of the pluses on coming here. I only want to come here again, when I am prepared to battle the crowd for my food. And that is not often.

Love this place and especially their lobster rolls! They have many other good food items on the menu and we've also had their clam chowder - very creamy and filled with goodies - fish & chips are good as are the rockfish tacos. But the main draw are the lobster and/or Dungeness crab rolls. We always opt for the cold version on a soft toasted brioche bun with aioli sauce, chives and old bay seasoning topped with a sliced pickle. You can pick a side order like chowder for a few extra dollars but each comes with a side of fries. For a $1 be sure to get the Gochujang aioli sauce to dip your fries. They do get busy on weekends but the line goes pretty quick and while you wait for your food then you can queue up for the covered outdoor heated seating and tabled area!

Finally made it to Market Edmonds after being scared away by a packed house my first visit. It was the first lobster roll of my life (Cold Maine) and I enjoyed it! I have to give points for fresh fries, that's a big deal to me.. A little spendy so it may be slightly more occasional. But overall prompt, friendly service and great food. I'll be back.

The Fish and Chips was fantastic! The batter is perfect and fish was moist and delicious. The fries are phenomenal! Super crispy outside that's generously salted and tastes very fresh. The Tacos have amazing sauces and toppings including a mango salsa. The limited menu item of fried sushi rice cakes with ahi tuna was a great app. Ahi was tender and loaded up in the cakes making it a great deal! The walk up ordering was fast and convenient. They have a comfortable dog-friendly outdoor seating section. Will be back many times.

Quality food at a good price! We order a kids size chicken tenders with fries, kids size fish n chips, and garlic parmesan fries. The kids size fish n chips was enough to fill me up as an adult lol. There's no seating inside, just a cute covered patio with heaters and tables. They had a bunch of other menu items that sounded really good like sushi fries and frozen beverages. The staff was friendly and brought the food to us, they also came out to the patio often to tidy up tables.

No ambiance. Sit down prices for takeaway food. Priced 15% higher than they should be. Try Jonny Mo's pizza down the street you'll be more satisfied. Lobster roll ok but can't compare to Boston.

Tl;dr great crab/lobster rolls but expensive Came here with my family for a nice lunch and walk on the beach. We ordered the PNW crab roll and it was delicious! So much crab and excellent flavoring. $34 for a sandwich and a tiny amount of fries is steep, but if you're looking for great flavor and quality this place is hard to beat.

I've tried Market once - but I haven't tried to lobster roll, yet. We stopped by there quickly to get the Fish & Chips and a cup of Clam Chowder. I thought it was a very solid bowl/cup of Chowder. I would/will get it again and I'd recommend that you'd try it. The Fish & Chips was a mixed reviewed. I personally thought it was great, one of the better Fish & Chips that I've had. However, some thought the breading was a bit too thick. I thought it helped create a really crunchy crust. But if you don't eat it right away, it does become a little soft/"soggy", which can be unappetizing. Across the board with seafood, it's expensive. That's why I have a love/hate. I love the food, but hate the price per serving compared to other fare. All that to say, I will definitely be back to try other things. Because I feel like the food is very good.

I have eaten at The Market several times in Edmonds and it's so delicious every time. On this occasion I went on busy Friday evening with sunny weather. Typically, I would go for the crab in the bag but I was craving fries so I started with the clam chowder fries, which was great. For my main course, I opted for the chicken sandwich, which was crispy and juicy. The special of the day, sushi rice cakes, was a pleasant surprise. Topped with tuna and it had a little kick to it. It was only $12. One thing to note is that Market offers outdoor seating (no dine in) on a first come, first serve basis. It's a great option especially if you have a pet.
