Mariscos La Playa

The consomé de camarón given at the beginning was very delicious, but unfortunately the same cannot be said for the langostinos. Not only are they lacking in flavor, but the overall plate is lacking cohesiveness. They serve the langostinos with a side of white rice and salad which is typical - only to throw a handful of fries on there too. (Which get soggy because of the watery sauce!) For a whopping $30 for a plate I could go down half a mile to Mariscos la Grulla and get what I ordered and more! I can't complain about our waitress as she was doing the best to serve multiple tables at once.

First time here, had a blast! It was a large crew eating and we had the pleasure to have a variety of food... everything was fresh and flavor. The strawberry margarita and tacos. With any dinner he serves a consome de Camaron. It is a great place to have a date, business meeting or a night out with your girls!!!! It also has a Dj on weekends. Thank you again for the fast service and for having food options for our vegan friends and pescatarian friends.

Great service! Waitress (Karina ) I believe was her name was attentive and filled with energy. The food was very tasty and plan to come back soon.

This was my first time visiting and honestly I can't say anything bad.From the moment I walked in the service was amazing. I can't remember the name of our server but he was so kind! They had live music/Dj Sunday. They have different events Friday- Sunday so you will always have some great entertainment. I really enjoyed the mix of music the Dj had, kept it fun!To start we had oysters, they were so fresh and delicious .We also had the shrimp empanadas, 10/10.The paella was our main dish. It was truly the best paella o have ever had. This place is BYOB. I am a Hennessy drinker, and their house lemonade mixed sooooo well. I wish I could buy a whole gallon and take it home.Their is plenty street parking.Pro tip: eat for free on your birthday!!Thank you for a great time :)

Amazing seafood and service. Everything was fresh, great house sauce. Highly recommend tostadas, muscles and whole fish. Very good shrimp selection and amazing table side condiments. Very nice staff and great service will definitely be back to try more. Very cool beach vibe with an outdoor patio.

This place was good! Street parking but there is also a parking lot near by and on the weekends if the bank is closed you can park at the bank across the street. They have some meat options for those who don't like seafood. And a kids menu for the little ones. No booze. But you can bring your own. Food was good. They give you sides of rice, garlic bread, salad and fries with most options. Prices are the usual for seafood. Staff was real nice! It was not too busy but we chose to sit in the back. It was nice ! Spacious. They do charge tip on the bill for 4 or more people and they also charge a corking fee if you byob. We would go back!

I finally got to check this out!!! Why didn't I ever come here before??! Boy what a gem!!!Let's see ...old neighborhood - check, great Mexican food -check, Good portions- check , great service- check , great prices- check!!! Oh there's also great drinks and a patio!!!! So 5 stars in Pilsen/Little Village from me!! Yes I'll be back, this place rules !!

Located in Little Village, this restaurant offers Mexican comfort food, primarily seafood-based!I tried the tastiest dishes like Ceviche Mixto with shrimp and fish, an Octopus Tostada with Avocado, Steak Fajitas and shrimp and fish tacos! The restaurant is BYOB, and they offer a ton of yummy single-serve and large-format cocktails that you can add alcohol to if you'd like! The owner Ruben could have not been more accommodating- I loved the level of care and service while at the restaurant! Make sure you grab your group and head over to enjoy all of their flavorful drinks and dishes - they offer dine-in, carry out and delivery!

Top notch aguachiles! Plus they have BYOB and great outdoor seating so you can't go wrong. I've been here before with large groups and they've always found a way to safely accommodate, even pre-covid. I'd recommend following them on IG so you can see their specials and mouth watering pics/videos. Highly recommend!

The food here is always so delicious and fresh! I am a regular here and Carina our server is always so helpful and attentive. GREAT customer service . This is my favorite spot to dine in the music!
