Mariscos El Puerto 2

See, this is why I always say to try to go to an establishment at least 2 times so that you get the full effect. Haven't been here in a few years but now I returned and am happy to say that I can gladly give them a 4 star. The food was really on point and the serving portions are really adequate for 2. You know, if you feel like sharing your plate with another, that is fine. The shrimp cocktail always has to be on point in order for me to love a place. Freshness and taste is big, and I did get all that here. The portion was actually giant and this was the small. You can taste all of the seafood in the mix and the shrimp was very clean and fresh. I kind of felt I was in a resort and that's how fresh it was. The actual restaurant is nicely done and has a great theme. Although I am not one for musicos (bands playing) I didn't mind it so much as the gentleman would walk around and for a donation they will play a song for your loved ones. I like that they didn't push it too far and were respectful when some patrons said no. Lets get back to the food. I will say that my partner having an actual fish dinner was nice, I am not one for fried fish, but his was very well seasoned and done right. It helped that the beer also was super cold (you know to wash it all down with). What a nice spot to just chill out and talk. And make sure you tip your servers as they have a lot going on here and seemed short staffed this day, but that didn't matter as they were on their game! BRAVO!

I recently dined at El Puerto 2 and unfortunately, my experience was quite disappointing due to both the poor service and mediocre food. My party and I arrived around 6:30pm on a Friday when the restaurant was not busy. However, our waitress took an unusually long time to take our order, bring our drinks, serve our food, and eventually provide the check.Despite understanding that the restaurant got busier later in the evening, this did not justify the initial delays we faced. It was particularly frustrating as we noticed another table that arrived after us received their drinks and were then ignored by the waitress. They were so dissatisfied with the lack of service that they paid for their unfinished drinks and left.As for the food, I ordered a shrimp cocktail, which was the sweetest shrimp cocktail I have ever had at any restaurant. I had to put tons of hot sauce on it to counteract the sweetness. Overall, I would not recommend this place. The service was horrible, and the food was mediocre at best.

Try out this place for the first time. Service was amazing, very friendly very quick. The food was delicious. Served promptly lots of attention by the staff. The environment was also very warming and welcoming. We will return to this place soon.

Didn't get a chance to take more pics but the ceviche & empanadas was sooo good all the sauces were made fresh and good I get my nails done next door so I'll b back of course to try other items.

I can't brag about this place enough , when someone comes to town this is where I take them. The foood is so good and never a miss for me. The servers are always nice and accommodating. I believe on weekend or certain days you can catch a drag show or live music. Drinks are pretty good not really strong but hey the food tops it all . My go to dishes are the fried snapper , and the longostinos Nayarit is my FAVVVVVV. . The garlic sauce and extra Nayarit sauce is a must !!

The food was delicious the atmosphere was amazing and the service was great! I will be going back very soon!

It's not the best Mariscos but definitely a fun and entertaining restaurant! I would say that this is the restaurant for drinks!! Their drinks are HUGE so come with a group! I appreciate that if you would like Virgin cocktails/mocktails they have those options as well! They also had live entertainment when we went on a Friday night which was fun! The servers were attentive and friendly!! It's a pretty big restaurant with different areas and a good place for all ages as well!

I go here with my family sometimes, it has a small interior and no too much walking room but the food makes up for it. I had fish tacos and wasn't expecting much but the sauce that came with it really made the tacos pop. Service was nice and would recommend it for any time of day.

This place has authentic Mexican food so please keep that in mind if you not Mexican! So, don't expect to see refried beans, fresh salsa and chips, rice! It's not that kinda restaurant.If you want that, don't waste your time coming here! However, the drinks are great!!!!
