Mariscos El Pacifico

I was surprised that this taco truck was tucked away in the middle of nowhere. Not only are they super nice, but their food is delicious. My favorite was the fried fish tacos. So juicy and perfect amount of crisp. They give complimentary soup in cups that you can just go grab from their window. They have a nice selection of glass bottled drinks in ice buckets. I don't know why we ordered so many tacos, but I have no regrets.

Service never disappoints, no matter when you come everyone is always very happy and happy to help. By far they have the best seafood, even better than actual sit down restaurants. As for the price it's beyond reasonable considering not only the quality but the quantity of food you're getting. This time we ordered 4 shrimp tacos, 1 gobernador taco, 1 fish taco, 1 agua de horchata and 1 coke. Total ended up around $30, which isn't bad at all considering how much seafood they had. You can walk up to the counter and ask for a consomé. Which again tastes great and is FREE! They have a great selection of salsas ranging from none spicy to spicy. It's nice to see that some establishment didn't get greedy with the current times and raised their prices while offering mediocre food. Waiting time is pretty reasonable as well, never had to wait more than 10 minutes regardless of what we ordered. This is a MUST for anyone looking for good food.

Mariscos El Pacifico is simply amazing!!! No need to drive to Mexico, one only needs to go as far as Broadway and H St in Chula Vista to find Fresh Seafood and a reminder of authentic Mexican flavor. The customer service is excellent which is more than may be said for the many unsanitary food truck options which seem to be popping up around San Diego County. Pedro and Armando are the Proprietor and Chef and each are as pleasant as can be making sure you are well taken care of. There is a nice clean seating area to enjoy your food. This location offers water, mexican sodas, and classic Coca-Cola. I have tried the fish tacos which come with typical fresh fish, pico de gallo, shredded cabbage and white sauce. The salsa makes for an excellent compliment as it is made fresh with quality ingredients and not watered down. The tuna tostada looks so deliciously fresh and tempting too. However, this visit, I decided to try the Gobernador Taco and the Quesadilla de Pulpo. The shrimp was fresh as can be. As for the "Pulpo" Octopus... OMG, so very delicious. It is fresher than what you may find at a nice seafood restaurant. The Quesadilla de Pulpo comes with melted white cheese, fresh grilled octopus, shredded cabbage and white sauce. I added some of their famous salsa to top it off. The clear broth based consume is a pleasant surprise and offers a nice contrast to your meal. It has fresh herbs, vegetables, and bits of seafood as well. It taste superior to the usual tomatoe base watered down consume you get at other food trucks. Overall, a superior product, great service, and awesome experience. Service is fast and they accept cash, debit, and credit so easy access. Go through yelp to experience weekly specials. Mariscos El Pacifico is the best seafood food truck in San Diego, period! Fresh ingredients, unbelievable seasoning, nice presentation! What I love most is the tuna tostada, the fish tacos and the quesadillas. I will stop by every time I'm around you guys! Thanks for serving such a quality, fresh and beautiful food!!!
