The food here was excellent and the service prompt, except he forgot my drink (hot tea - maybe they didn't have it and he forgot to tell me?). Regardless we had a wonderful experience. We had the bacalao croquetas and they were delicious. We also had the paella and the broccoli rabe dish. Every item was a hit and I'm definitely yearning to go back and try them again + more.

A new favorite! We had dinner at the bar and loved talking with the staff while eating such yummy tapas. AND, for the first time ever, I finally had churros that were fresh and delicious!!

Ate here with friends on a recent trip to Seattle. Didn't know it was restaurant week when I made the reservations, so I don't know if things are different than usual. We each had the tasting menu, which I highly recommend. The presentations were fun, and the flavors and textures were amazing. My favorite dishes were the Flan de Erizo and the Lagrimas, but everything was delicious. Most of the portions were small, and at the beginning we worried that we would leave hungry, but never fear. The final course before dessert was larger, and also came with a large roll for each of us, so that I wasn't able to finish the dessert courses. Service was excellent, and I'm so glad we chose this for the splurge dinner on the trip.

This was such a warm friendly place. My friend and I had tried to come once for a weeknight dinner and were told it'd be a 2 hour wait so we tried again later with an actual reservation. We got 5 dishes between the 2 of us which was just right. The jamon croquetas were so creamy and delicious, the crispy part of the paella was also fantastic. Everything else was also great but those stood out the most to me. Didn't know they had a tasting menu but I'd come back for that too.

Not bad, everything was good! Was thinking of the tasting menu because it was different from the original, but decided to go a la carta. Surprisingly, broccoli was my fav and everything else was alright

Food - the food is always amazing and authentic - I have been twice. As the spouse and daughter-in-law of Gallegos, I can confirm that they all approved. Even the patatas bravas, which were somewhat different in presentation, still tasted exactly like what they should. They also usually have quite a few vegetarian options to try which is also a win for me. Go early or they will run out of the pulpo and churrasco! All the items we did get were a hit still though. The drinks were also very good - I highly recommend any of their gin and tonics or wines. And the tinto de verano (which came with a salt rim but it was actually pretty good that way). The only draw back is the cost relative to portion sizing (even for tapas), thus 4 instead of 5 stars. Service - very attentive and informative if you're not familiar with tapas style or Spanish food. They kept water glasses filled, drinks coming as requested, and food coming regularly without overwhelming. Ambiance - very modern and chic spot with some very gallego and general Spanish decor. It's a cozy but smaller spot so make sure you have a reservation if it's a weekend or prime time on a weekday.

Another fun stop on our whirlwind eating in adventure in Seattle.Beautiful ambience and great service but sadly the food was average. Patates Bravas and Polbo a Feira were good but the Stuffed Olives and Rabo de Toro Fideua were disappointing. Probably a place I won't come back to.

I definitely want to return to give a more thorough rating, only ordered one drink and two-ish plates. Pros: - The chef worked an internship at Galicia's only 2 Michelin star restaurant! She brings playful notes of Spanish coastal food in a family style format.- The staff was VERY attentive, we had our waters filled by the sip and they anticipated anytime we were ready for the next plate.Cons:- Small plates, emphasis on the SMALL. For the prices, you would expect more. It's curious how small the portion sizes are when they are "meant to be shared."- The menu was confusing, and they waiter seemed annoyed when asked to elaborate on wording.

The paella was one of the best things I've tasted in a very long time. I might get two next time just to get more shrimp. Service was lovely and attentive. I didn't have a reservation so they graciously sat me at the window and next time I'm coming back to get the tasting menu (plus more paella omg)They played excellent music and the ambiance was on point. I'd been avoiding this place because I was irrationally mad about cafe press closing, but after hearing about their James Beard nomination I decided to give it a try and I feel LIKE A FOOL. Run don't walk!

Ambiance: very small but warming spot where you can have an intimate conversation. Expect to be sit closely to others. I think many will appreciate the food decor around the restaurant.Service: standard across the board nothing bad. I'll give it a little more extra point as the host explain each of the dish was very nice and enlightening.Food: Spanish tapas, it is hard to miss the mark on this food! Enjoyed every dish for the most part. The patatas was interesting and very different. They are huge cut of potatoes. I think I prefer the smaller ones in traditional Spanish tapas. I felt like I could use more sauce on a few dishes but that is relative to one's taste. All in all I do enjoy this spot and would love to try their other dishes. Btw the cheese and the yam was a bit surprise! Really enjoyed that dish. The fried olive with cheese was simple but very enjoyable as well. The dessert was very good as well ...good balance in sweetness.
