Okay.... So it's a tiny little market. Has very few items in it. It does have an ice cream counter. I bought two scoops of ice cream. This is how big (or should I say how SMALL) the scoops were. I swear to you, I didn't eat any yet, this is the entire scoop. $1.99 each. And because it was $4.98, 2 cents under the $5 min for debit card, they charged me another 50¢ for using my debit card. So, in the end, I paid $5.48 for two tiny scoops if ice cream. Ridiculous.

Not the same wonton soup!!! There must be a change in ownership. The original hand made dumplings are replaced by the average frozen gyozas from some place like Costco, steeped in a bland soup base spiced with red chili sauce. Super disappointing for the $20+ dollars I paid (incl tip) for an XL container that could not feed 2 people. I'm so sad I did not get back there for the real deal before something changed.

Great little market in town, and the wonton soup is excellent. They also make very good sandwiches with Boars Head meats

Here lies the remainder of an extra large wonton soup my partner and I split with sandwiches. This soup is bold, peppery and had fantastic flavor. Will be back. Our sandwiches were basic and nothing flashy but just what we were looking for. This place is a great corner market with nice staff that are really worried about getting your order exactly right.

This is the best little market and deli. All the employees are exceedingly kind and the wonton soup is to die for. I stumbled upon the Marina Market when I lived in Des Moines for a year, but I've since moved as far away as Redmond. Best believe I made the journey from Redmond to Des Moines for the wonton soup!! It's sooo comforting when you have a cold. 10/10 recommend! This is a shining example of an amazing, small local business :) thank you guys!

I'll double down on what Angie B said... This little deli has pretty much anything and everything you might want to pick up at a little convenience market.. Cold drinks, cigarettes, assorted groceries, coffee and Boar's Head deli meats... but that's not all.. They have great , homemade Wonton Soup. The best flavored broth I've found in and around Seattle. I make a special trip over to Des Moines to get a bowl a couple times a week and eat it at the single little table they have.. I can get a cold beer all over the place, but no one has soup like theirs.Add to that that the couple that own the place are very friendly and personable.. I'd give them 6 stars if I could...

Nice little mom and pop shop in Des Moines with easy parking access. They literally sell a WIDE variety of items - from your basic small market items such as drinks and non perishable food items and cigarettes and whatnot. But then they sell a few grocery items like potatoes and onions, fish and tackle gear, socks, sandals, even some clothing for men, women and children. Fresh ground coffee and a very unique selection of rootbeers too, they also have a deli area that serves a small menu of asian foods and deli sandwiches. But the reason I came here was some what of a rave of a few local folks of them having the best wonton soup ever. I had it. And now I want to round everyone up who ever said that so I can ask based off of what??? For $4 you get a decent amount of soup and a good handful of wontons. the lady scooped it into containers then popped it in the microwave to be reheated. The wonton filling to wrapper ration was way off so the top head was all wonton wrap so you don't really get a taste of the meat itself. And the broth - full of sodium and MSG with a nice bit of spicy heat to it. It's not horrible... but far far far from the best out there. But I suppose if you live in the area and your only comparison is Dragon Chinese restaurant then maybe I can see why it's the best out of two spots... but it's not good wonton soup.

The worst Greek restaurant. Lamb was dry, very little sauce. Ordered Greek fries but delivered regular fries. Fries were terrible!Samosa was also dry. They also go by the name of Marina Gyro House on Uber Eats.Terrible! I highly do not recommend!I would not recommend this place.
