Great place to go to for a birthday. All of the savory dishes we got were absolutely delicious. Highly recommend the gnocchi and salmon cubitos. I would skip out on dessert for next time.

This place was awesome. Queer o meter a cosmic 10! We had a work lunch here and I haven't had a better time with people and food and drinks in forever. The staff is kind and accommodating, the drinks are flavorful and delish. We got a variety of apps and then a meal. I can't even break it all down since I literally tried about 8 different things. They were all full of flavor and cooked perfect. I would love to try this as a dinner night out with a friend over drinks and a slow roll out of courses to really give it the go over. Cheers!

This is a review for getting in touch with the restaurant, not for the restaurant service itself.This is an establishment that seems to only have access via email or text. Trying to call for any reason, for me, has resulted in an endless loop of holding and transfers to a voice mail. I called numerous times on different phones - all to no avail. If you require personal service, this seems to be a difficult establishment to work with. Good luck.

When someone ask me what my favorite restaurant, I now have a definite answer. Mariel has creative cocktails and menu items that WORKS. The Fufu gnocchi is just an innovation that just MAKES SENSE. The fufu texture makes great gnocchi! It is soft and chewy on the inside and light and crispy on the outside. The sauce is light and savory and it goes really well with the melted cheese. I definitely need to come back for more!The Calamari is also a must get appetizer. It is nicely fried with a thin coat of batter on each piece. It goes really well with the sauce and lime. The stars of the show were actually their desserts!My favorite is the peach pie start thingy that I forgot the name of. The presentation is so pretty and the pie is warm and crispy. I also like the ice cream its kind of like sorbet. Super tart! The pie and the ice cream is perfection. I didn't really like the big ice cream sandwich though, when they brought it out it was super tough to dig into with a fork. Maybe you'll have to pick it up and bite it. Ambiance was great, it wasn't busy when we went we enjoyed the peacefulness. Overall the food here is great! I really like the fufu gnocchi.

Came on a Friday night with some friends and it was very popular and lively! I love the tapas and drinks here. We ordered 2x fufu gnocchi (10/10), corn & crab arepitas (10/10), park flatbread (8/10), yuca cheese puffs (6/10), and chicken tots (5/10). I also highly recommend getting the drinks! We got a whole pitcher since it was a girl's night.

A delicious and beautiful Cuban themed restaurant located in the heart of downtown Boston! Great service and delicious drinks too! If you're in the area, you have to stop by, at least for a drink and a bite. I actually ended up coming back here after my first nighttime experience being so delightful. This this time I was just there for lunch, but it looked even more beautiful in the daytime and there weren't as busy, which was great. My favorite thing was the coconut flan, I'm a dessert fan and this would did not disappoint! It is a little on the pricier side, but it is a great experience.

Beautiful ambiance and amazing food. The flavors and textures are perfectly balanced. We tried the Octopus Manzanilla, Congri rice and beans, kale ensalada with avocado crema, areputas with surimi, and long bone ribeye. All of the courses were excellent and service was great. Be sure to book a reservation and come early as it can get packed at peak dinner hours and late night as well. The drinks are great as well and be sure to try the namesake Mariel which is their version of a mint mojito. Definitely worth a visit. It's another fantastic venue from the Coje group that blends excellent fare with an amazing ambiance topped with great service.

Cute place to take pictures but the food isn't something I'd come here for. We ordered -chorizo pizza: nothing special, pretty average pizza.-fried calamari: probably my favorite thing we ordered. Crispy and has a nice sauce -coconut flan: a little too sweet -ice cream dessert: my friend ordered this but she didn't like it-drinks: we had to get these remade because they tasted a little off? Service was very slow.

DAMN THIS WAS GOOD...in Boston for business and we were hungry for something different. Found this place in the vicinity of the office. Juan Carlos, our waiter, made us feel right at home - recommend several things, spoke to us as if we have been friends forever. The yuca cheese ball appetizer came out and the only negative thing about them is that it was only four - they melt in your mouth and are so savory. My colleague got the flounder and I got the chicken arepa and OMG! Each bite was a little piece of heaven and the after taste was even better. Those cooks out did themselves back there. The portion was not too much but not too little - it was just right. Highly recommend this restaurant - ambience was gorgeous, wait staff was friendly and polite and the food was spot on DELICIOUS.

The dishes not only looks great, but taste amazing!great food, Very colorful, and tasty. Love the environment. Kind staff.
