I can't say enough good things about Marcel. It's a Ford Fry restaurant and it shows - from everything to the fine dining service, the BREAD service , the ambiance/lighting, down to the perfect cuts of steak and wide array and seafood and meat options, Marcel is top tier. I went for my birthday with a few girlfriends and they stamped my menu - it was so cute! The dirty vodka olive martinis are incredible, with fresh blue cheese stuffed olives. The pommes aligot are soooo creamy, flavorful, and perfect with a bite of steak. I truly can't recommend Marcel enough.

Very special night. Amazing service ... never felt rushed. The waiter was very helpful with the menu. The location is hidden up the stairs. Dark, candle lit, and an old speakeasy feel. We started with martinis at the bar as we were there a little early. Mixed perfectly. Moved to the table where they serve a few pre dinner options .. olives, prosciutto and bread. We added an amaretto sour with a foam topping. The Caesar salad was tasy. The onion soup was a little salty for my taste.Dinner was a bone in ribeye and strip. Both cooked perfectly and seasoned well. The side was mashed potatoes.I give it 5 stars because it was a great experience. Do I feel it was $400 great? No. The prices are ridiculous.

First the speak easy vibe is awesome. The food is stellar and the experience was spectacular. Our new favorite Atlanta restaurant.

Great spot for date night or a luxe vibe. The food was not bad, but was not great either. My taste buds were not dancing. Great wines options, great service. There is a paid parking deck steps away and the crowd is mature. Really love the decor. One thing I did not like is that for a reservation of two people you could not be seated, unless both parties were there insane. I would go again if invited, but I wouldn't invite or recommend again. Dinner for two with a bottle of wine ~$450 and I just was not satisfied with the seating service or the flavor.

Everything about Marcel is spectacular. I have dined at this establishment over a handful of times now, and every time is better than the last. The interior is dark, but sexy and inviting, and they have matches at the front to take as a nice little souvenir. You cannot go wrong with the bread service. The drinks are always fabulous. The steaks are truly a work of art. The only thing that I do not enjoy at this restaurant is the burger, and I think that's because I am very spoiled and having tried amazing burgers, if it wasn't put on top of a sauce that soaked into the bottom bun and made it very soggy I think that the burger would've been much better, other than that, I genuinely have no complaints. I would recommend the steakhouse to anybody in the city or traveling to Atlanta.

3 stars only because of the waiter... the decore and aesthetic was a 10/10. The food... not so great. I ordered my steak as I usually do... it came out rare... after sending it back, it still came out fairly rare. Nothing made me feel it was unique. I've been to different restaurants and their flavors have made my taste buds dance. With the price that is charged for their menu items... I would expect that same feeling, and needless to say I was very dissatisfied. The waiter Keith was very accommodating though, great service!!!

Marcel offers an impeccable dining experience characterized by outstanding service, a delightful ambiance, and exquisite cuisine. During our recent visit, I had the halibut accompanied by asparagus and hollandaise sauce. The fish was perfectly cooked, and the sauce added a rich, creamy complement to the dish. My husband opted for the chicken, served with asparagus and potatoes, which was equally delicious and well-prepared.The service was top tier, with Shai attending to our table. Her expertise and attentiveness elevated our experience. She also provided excellent spirit recommendations that perfectly complemented our meal.We concluded our dining experience with the indulgent 10-layer chocolate cake, a decadent treat that provided a perfect end to a memorable evening. Marcel is a must-visit for anyone seeking a high-quality dining experience.

My wife treated us to this wonderful restaurant for my birthday, and I was thoroughly pleased by the experience. The dimly lit and cozy atmosphere makes your table conversation feel intimate, even if you're sitting right next to another table.Our services was flawless, as we ordered most of our meal up front. Our server read our table to know exactly when to bring every round. And when asking for a wine pairing with my seafood dish, he nailed it. One of the best whites I have tasted. Our cacio e pepe and potato gratin were a bit on the salty side this night, however not so much to ruin the dish. Everything else was perfectly prepared and tasted amazing. We will be back soon!

I'll be honest. I'm not really a steakhouse guy. I firmly believe someone with half a brain who understands basic seasoning and temperature can cook a decent steak using ingredients from the grocery store - and it'll come pretty close to something you'd get at any average steakhouse for roughly a third of the cost.Marcel proved me wrong. The meat here was indescribably good. I don't think I can summarize in the English language how insanely tasty the steak is here. It'd be more proper to use carefully timed out moans to describe the absolute, divine bliss that is a Marcel steak. Don't skip on the desserts either. We tried every single one. They're all sensational but the sticky toffee pudding was easily the best I've had in Atlanta. It's worth the price. Come here
