Manzanita Roasting Company and Coffee House

After reading all the recommendations for the browned butter latte, I felt I had to try this. When I got to the shop, which is super cute and spacious, I waffled in my choice. There was also the lavender lemonade, lavender latte and honey latte.... They are speaking my language. Then... I saw the Over The Moon Shortbread- lemon glazed. This place was now speaking allll of my love languages!!! The staff was super nice and very quick! I picked up my beverage, which had lovely art on it! As I sipped my drink, I was not disappointed. It was fabulous! I'd highly recommend this place as your local coffee shop.

While I was perusing a new coffee place, I saw that this was in the area I was at so I decided to check it out. An interesting location next to I believe a theatre and a bunch of young kids were passing through going upstairs when I arrived. I read the reviews and the unanimous "brown butter" latte was the go to. I truly had high expectations . I ordered them "hot" one with regular milk and one with oat milk. Sorry but I was so disappointed. It was ok. I also ordered the egg, cheddar and bacon sandwich. It was decent. I surely liked it better than the coffee. I spoke with a regular customer while I was waiting for my drinks. He said the cortado coffee was really good. So unfortunately my personal experience fell short of what I was hoping to be an amazing discovery. If I'm in the area again, just maybe I'll try something else.

What a great little place...or not so little space! Don't let the entrance fool you! We were on our way to a workshop, and after lunch down the street, I needed coffee. We walked in and the menu had a number of interesting choices. I decided on the Brown Butter latte. I could hear someone in the back as we waited...this gave me a chance to look around and I saw a sign for their seasonal drink: Orange Cardamon When the young girl came out, she apologized and I think felt bad we were waiting. I asked about how many shots were in the drink, and there's two which was perfect. I also ordered it iced. This was a very delicious coffee drink. The flavor was not overpowering which some places tend to do, so I can actually taste the coffee as well!Great place to come to if you're in the area! It also is dog friendly! I'm sure Cako would approve!

If I could give 0 stars I would. Tried coffee from this place for the first time and ordered online through their website. First off, the prices are pretty high for their beverages but because of the good reviews and proclaimed house made syrups, was willing to bear with the prices and try it out. Online ordering could be organized better when choosing customization options. My friend and I both missed clicking the "iced" option when online ordering a brown butter latte and a lavender latte. This mistake wasn't realized until pickup time when hot beverages were handed over. My friend explained that we meant to order our lattes iced, but the staff said they couldn't change it and compromised by saying she could give us cups of ice. When I opened the hot beverage cup to pour the lavender latte into the cup of ice, I was dismayed to see just how little coffee was in the cup when I had paid close to $6 for it. I attached a picture of what I saw when I opened the lid of the hot beverage cup. Such a small amount and definitely not worth what I paid for it. Furthermore, when I tasted my latte there was absolutely NO lavender flavor at all and it just tasted like burnt espresso!!! I had my friend try it too in order to see if my taste was off, but he agreed that it was disgusting. I tried to bear with finishing the drink as I didn't want to waste it and it was expensive! Each sip was torture to drink and eventually my stomach was aching because of it, so I had to throw it out. My friend ordered the brown butter latte with an extra shot of espresso and with oat milk because he's lactose intolerant. He said the flavor was ok at first, but was nothing amazing. However, by the end of it my friend said it lost its flavoring and just tasted like bitter milk. Also, we highly doubt that they substituted with oat milk because my friend's stomach hurt and he exploded in the bathroom. The oat milk was an extra $1 to substitute, but it was pretty obvious my friend didn't get that oat milk. My friend also said parking is pretty shitty at this location and the staff was not very friendly. Drinks overpriced and did not taste good at all. Not one thing went right with trying this place out. Never ordering from here again.

Bought an iced vanilla latte here and it was delicious. Definitely worth the money. There was no air conditioning inside, so it was a little hot to sit in here, but it is a cute place to sit. The upstairs is even hotter, so maybe avoid sitting there, although it is more quiet upstairs. The man who took my order and made my drink was friendly. The bathrooms were quite dirty, though.

Brown butter latte is delicious! I got it half sweet with almond milk. Nice atmosphere to sit. Definitely will come back when I'm in the area. Love support local coffee places!

Stopped by on a whim, and so glad we did! We will be back for sure.Our orders were a Brown Butter Latte & Vanilla Latte, and both were wonderful. Super smooth, no bitterness, not overly sweet. I only picked the Brown Butter Latte based on other Yelp reviews (thank you!) and it tasted like a creamy latte with a Worther's Original candy melted inside... caramelly, toffee flavors. Barista was great - service was quick.Can't wait to come back to try more!

Average service. Dirty restrooms and no hand soap. This place was great in the beginning. Now they aren't attentive and you feel like you are a number and not a guest. Avocado toast is pretty good.

Cute little coffee spot in a lobby of a multi-use building. Easy to get to and they have excellent coffee. I ordered the Americano and their espresso was flavorful and full bodied.
